Budmaster lights

Amare sells 900w with 2000$ ... this was the main reason I chose Amare over Budmaster. 2x power, same money, good build. We can even assume that Budmaster is a better build or has a better spectrum etc (witch I doubt), would it be that good?
Does anyone think that a G.O.D. will match a Pro9? ... the cost is the same, right?

One of the appealing things about Budmaster is that Budmaster is in the UK. For those of us in the UK, local warranty is worth a fair bit. Get them to sell Amare in the UK, then there would 3 decent led companies here. How much is import costs on a $2000 light? A lot I imagine...

Amare may be ok for lazy people that don't want to put together a decent cob set up. I'm in to pre made panels too myself, don't get me wrong. I cannot be fucked to build my own light or learn how to, so I'm going to pay through the nose for a decent led.

I actually quite like what Amare have done with mixing white light with normal leds, but it ain't worth the outlay getting one sent to the UK.

That is true, you can't beat a local builder, but they are so unfair with their prices. Do not think I wouldn't run one if I had it. I still like Budmaster, but they are gay for that prices. They are all in for the money ...
Man if I show you my DIY 3590 bar you would cry ... I still got a bunch of 3590 and 3070 with no intention to even think to try and build again :)).
The problem is not the tax you pay to get in in your country overseas, that can be dodged... though I don't think they would sell to EU.

Budmasters are Not gay either... Not that anything is wrong with being gay, even if Budmasters lights were gay..!

With regards to them all being in it for the money, yeah that's kind of how it works when you open up a business! People tend to be in business for the money!

I have no doubt at all that Paul is passionate about what he does though! I'm investing heavily in Budmasters real soon. I'll drop you a pm to watch the journal.

I've already sold all my lights from the last journal.

Sup! Do you know what Paul has planned? i noticed he's officially teamed up with Marl - which has gotta be a good thing! Quantum boards are so easy to put together, would literally save you a fortune!

Yeah I've been stopping in your journal and having a look at the boards. I still fancy getting myself a couple of cob leds. I'm going to have the funds in a few weeks.

I watched a new Budmaster video the other day about Quantum boards... Interesting stuff. I like that new light you have!

Yes. It was that video.

I have raised over £900 from selling my other lights. I'm moving so have the next 6-8 weeks off to get myself sorted. I'm going to grow in 1 dr60 (cobx1) auto's day 1-15, 75cm tent with cob x4 days 15-30, Cob x6 in a dr90 days 30-45, then shift them across the the final tent, dr90 with cobx9.

That's all I want to do, but occasionally can move them to 20 days in 3 tents, while I scrog out my percy C'99.

That wouldn't cost much to run. Do the whole lot 4 plants every 15 days, in 6 liter pots. Man I would kill it with that set up lol
 
I wasn't sure if it was old. Yeah that journal has been hard work and lasted months. I'm sick of the heat, the high electric bills, the loud fans and the worry of ballasts setting on fire.

Those maxibright 315w cmh kits run hot as hell! They needed their own clip on fan, or they just do Not cool down. They run hotter than the 600w 400v lumatek ballast. That's the thing with led. You pay more for the set up, but it's very nice to grow under led.

I will be back to growing under just led which is where I started out. In the summer I'll be leaving my grow for 4 days at a time and going off in my campervan. Sodium lamps just take that away. I can't even go away for 48 hours, so end up doing holidays within 30 miles from home, so I can drive back and feed them.

The extraction noise ain't just something to play down either. Literally screaming into my pillow in the middle of the night with stress at being hot with too much noise!

Bring back the days where I have to stand close to my tents just to tell they are switched on lol
 
@Fevs yeah man, totally agree! looking forward to binning my 600hps after this grow so i can turn extraction down. i run coco automated drip feed and go away sometimes for ten 10 days :) led for the win on so many angles! i dont know whats next for paul and budmsterr/marl but its diy for me.

You know I taught so too, that all business owners are only in it for the money but ... it's not true. Well it is 99% but when you find that 1% you can tell the difference. Yes, please do PM me with your journal, I'd love to see a Budmaster grow. Only saw one with the COB unit, Icemud, pfff ... fantastic grow.
