Thank you I wanted to show everyone what I'm working with. They're sensi skunk autos in roots organic soil and I'm using the nectar for the gods nutes. Currently on flush! These pics are from a week ago I'll get some new ones when I get home. When you post a reply, click "upload a file". Then just choose thumbnail or full size. Eazy peazy.
Uh-oh. You said the magic word. Now the no-till/no-flush army is gonna drop by and tell you what for. It's kind of like the duck descending from the ceiling but it isn't holding a $50 bill.View attachment 3891474

All I know is I keep my 42 watt an inch away. Looks like my white and your blues were born the same day!Blue Widow Day 4
All 5 broke out overnight. Anyone know the optimum distance from a 100w cfl for newborns?

It turns out this isn't strictly true. COB LED makes a lot less infrared so for whatever reason even equivalent wattage does not create as much need for cooling. Not to be pedantic, but 400w of COB's will cost you the same to run as 400w of HPS. Now if you are saying he can replace 400w with 300, or that he will won't need as much a/c, then that is a different argument.
The power company doesn't care how you burn watts, they all cost the same.

I like panda film; heavy plastic black on one side and white on the other. It's good for light isolation and reflection.Does anyone know of a good thread on reflectors? I'm trying to figure out what to surround my grow in, and I see all manner of variation, but was looking for someone to be like, "This is the best for the $. This is the best but is expensive AF." etc.
Im running a smooth, consistent 77 inside my tent also (with my LED AND CFL), with no exhaustRight now it's winter I have no a/c running. Thank god. Or yet!?! I'm running a smooth 77 degrees. I'd just like to go cob cause I think it's a better investment long term and I can def get more of them in a space than a big fucking hood and fans hoses all that shit that comes with MH HPS set up. I want better penetration for the plants I want them full and sexy. Not lanky and skinny looking. Green crack is tall and not full. My train wreck is bushy fat lil bitch. Like a slice of heaven has touched her.
Don't stress the RH, it's nice but not essential. Higher RH is better for CO2 uptake, but not a big deal otherwise.Im running a smooth, consistent 77 inside my tent also (with my LED AND CFL), with no exhaust
fan and filter going. kind of easy. come summer will be different story, eh? Only issue I have is damn humidity keeps going down to 30.
Once I put the 5 gallon pots in, the humidity spiked to about 70%. I'm controlling it by running the exhaust fan on a controller which also keeps the temp under 75. Otherwise I'm not paying much attention to it.Im running a smooth, consistent 77 inside my tent also (with my LED AND CFL), with no exhaust

not sure how good it is but saw this one:Does anyone know of a good thread on reflectors? I'm trying to figure out what to surround my grow in, and I see all manner of variation, but was looking for someone to be like, "This is the best for the $. This is the best but is expensive AF." etc.
where i have little ladies want to keep it above 40. if I dont watch it it will go down to 20. I have a bowl of water in there with a towel hanging out, spray 2x day, and still having hard time. I assume its the baseboard heating in my house....damn ne winter.Once I put the 5 gallon pots in, the humidity spiked to about 70%. Don't use the journal section, just start it in the appropriate spot, like indoor growing.I wanted to start a grow journal but it keeps saying I don't have permission. Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong?
A little meteorology; when you increase temperature, RH ALWAYS falls. This is because warmer air can hold more moisture than cooler air, exponentially more. A good rule of thumb is that the water holding capacity of a given volume of air roughly doubles with every 20°F increase in temperature.where i have little ladies want to keep it above 40. if I dont watch it it will go down to 20.
