How to wire a POT on HLG-320H

Hello to everybody, i'm going to buy a MeanWell HLG-320H-C1400 to drive 5 CLU 048.
I'd like to buy the B version instead the A because i think the internal screw is not so practical in current use. Could somebody help me to find the right Potentiometer to buy (1-10 V? 0-10V) maybe linking me that on ebay or mouser? I m really bad in electronic knowledge(and as you can see in english leanguage) but i want to be perseverant. Watching some video on youtube i m quite confuse.
Many thanx

Get the first one the ten turn, They are much nicer. But yes any linear 100K pot will work.

Thank you again! Will it difficult wire the pot to the driver? There are 4 wire out from the driver: + and - for the COBs and other two wire for the pot...i have only to sold those two wires (dim+ and dim-)to the potentiometer or there is a particular scheme i must to follow? I'm really ignorant, sorry.

Then i ve just find this 3d and I'm a little confuse...i must I add a resistor to have a 100% outpunt current?
What could happen dimming the driver below 10%?
One wire to the middle pin and one to either the left or right pin (this will determine clock or anti clockwise rotation of knob increasing or decreasing output)... sorry can't recall which does what...

Negative (black) to the outside...

Oh and add a resistor to the negative side of 10K so that it doesn't go below 10% output as recommended by Meanwell and increases the output of the Pot. at the top end as most only go to 90-96K with the 10K in series you should get the maximum 100K output.

Pretty easy to wire up there is a thread in here on how to do it. I would wire in a switch to get 100% output. Leaving the dim wires open will usually give the driver a little boost past rated specs of the driver. So flipping a switch to the off position that's wired into a dimmer wire will open the circuit giving you a boost. The couple times i have dimmed below 10% nothing happened. I try to not go below 33% dimming as efficiency goes to hell right in there. But yeah you can wire in a 10K resistor to stop it from going below 10%.

Thanx for your help, unfortuantely my engkish is not so good. Arebyou sayng me that should use switch plus a potentiometer so if i need i could have some extea power that with only potentiometer i could ot get? Isn t it? Is it difficoult to do? That should bereally important for my diy lamp project because of volt current of my clu 048 1212 wire in series at 1.4A will give me a little more volts than driver output..

Switches are pretty easy. You just need to do one of the dim wires with a single pole switch. Off is the same as open So when switched to the off position the driver will usually give a little bit more current then if the pot was hooked up dialed all the way up to 100K. Thats pretty much it,one side of the switch goes to one of the DIM wires and the other goes to one prongs on the Pot. Switch on for dimming ,switch off for full blast.

I got it! You re right..it seems not hard to do..great idea!!
I found a 100k pot with an integrate switch...if I m right that should has a fourth connector for switch function, isn t it? Or maybe switch is built on and i have only to wire it like a classic pot? Should be a good solution?

If I m right do you know how could i wire it?
