Hi Guys,
I've messed up. This is my first grow and I will certainly know for my 2nd that more is not better.... My plants had been doing fine in my flood and drain system running an EC of 1.0 and pH 5.8. They're under 2 x 600W HPS + 300W CFL.
When they started flowering I switched to hesi bloom nutrient and increased the EC by 0.125 each week. I was up to 1.5 when I checked my plants this morning and discovered the signs on N toxicity, i.e. clawing and a few leaves are starting to turn down.
Can anyone advise what I can do? Unfortunately I've had to leave on a business trip this morning and will be back in 2 days. So for now I did a quick flush with RO pH balanced water and then diluted the reservoir back to EC 1.0. Would this do the trick? Or do I need to give them plain water for a few days, then go back to the original or weaker solution?
My Jack Herer plant to the left is fine with no signs, it's my Candy Kush that is showing the problems.
Any help really appreciated,
Thanks. J
