I believe he's correct when you consider what the interest rates are vs. dollar for dollar reduction of income via mortgage interest on your tax return.

It has more value and can put you in a different tax bracket.

i've been growing all my own food and meat for years. i won't be held hostage with the bullshit threat of more expensive food to keep illegals. i'll also gladly pay a little more at a restaurant when they have to pay kitchen staff a decent wage when the illegals are booted. i welcome it.

am i reading that right? someone would rather pay interest and get a tax break than pay off the mortgage and save themselves the interest? holy fuck, that just retarded, whoever said that has never had a mortgage or has a basic understanding of math.

You're a nice person from what I've read. But its just absolutely incorrect. For starts, the interest is not dollar for dollar deducted, its interest minus standard deduction that's deducted.
