You and reality have as much in common as you and women.

Which is why you're alone.
You accused me of being poor and you were wrong. You accuse me of being alone and LOL you are wrong.

Wanna go for 3 in a row?

Why is this about me again? Oh yeah, cause you cant find any articles about starving people in PA.... LULZ!!

Tangerine- If a baboon arrived in your backyard and started grunting and flinging poop, would you stay and argue with it?

This is no different. Leave the poop-flinger outside, and come in and have a toke with the grownups.
Says the guy who is 'ignoring' me... ROFLMAO!!! It doesnt count if you are peeking between your fingers!!

You were whining about a soda tax on people with limited resources. Now, I did a search for welfare in your post, you didn't seem to be concerned for recipients well being, at all. Wich tells me you are referring to yourself, when you speak of these poor soda drinkers with limited resources. " What are they supposed to do, go without"

I wonder if raising the prices of cigarettes (tax) actually reduced purchases by the poor. I honestly don't know, but it seems like a good behavior barometer.

I wonder if soda has had its formulation changed to specifically increase addiction, as cigarettes have been so engineered?

I think cigarette sales have decreased over the years because people have come to realize it's a nasty habit.

I am disagreeing with politicians using punative fiscal punishments in order to manipulate society.

It is against freedom and the individual.

You dont empathize with the poor and you dont give a shit about them which is why you dont give a shit about the tax. You are a shitty person but we already knew that.

But I do care, that's why I don't want them drinking too much soda.

So not only do you not care about them you think they are too stupid to make proper decisions and need government prodding them in the right direction...

Again, I am for freedom, you are for government control, at least of people you dont think are the same as you....

I would agree, fdd

There are a lot of laws though, as I sit here and think about it. You can't smoke anywhere in public anymore. You can't smoke near children. A lot of apartment complexes don't allow smoking. Bars banned it.

So if I rethink this, ... maybe so many people have quit because they were pushed to realize that it is a nasty habit. When I smoked I always knew it was nasty, I believe I was addicted though. 8 years of no smoking and I now look back and wonder why I ever smoked in the first place.

Switching gears here, ...

"If they legalize marijuana big business is going to take over and TAX the shit out of it."

Yep, you're right. The tax payers should subsidize all cost incurred, so poor people can smoke and drink all the shit they can't afford.

Big business faces competition. I think that the largest tax will be from the government like gas, cigarettes and alcohol. The underlying product will become cheaper until a sensible level of profit after labor and other costs.

I am guessing that 10 years from now marijuana prices will be equal or lower than today. I have seen a 25% decrease in overall price in the last 2 years alone.
