Question about double harvest (newb)

Hello all. I am on my first grow and want to try a double harvest. My bush is dense (lol) and the lower buds are nice and frosty but I would like them to plump up and mature a bit if possible. Also my main buds are all pretty fat and long and I am not sure where I would cut them for a double harvest. The tops are getting really close to done but the very bottoms need some time. Would you just cut the whole big chunk off for the large buds or find a spot in the middle where the trichs are more clear to split it?

Thanks! Think I just needed someone to confirm before I get the scissors in there. I love a big bud but I want them to be potent above size :P
