If you are doing a 3x3 space i would do 12 like me for a 4x4 on either 2 hlg-320-48a or driven a little lower on a hlg-600-48a--6 cxm22 on each 320 or 5-6 on each output on the 600. Your plant will be very happy with 12 especialy if you narrow the beam down with some reflectors :) maybe some angela if you have it in the tent leave em bare will be fine. Even at 12 id suggest running co2 to take up all that light you will be giving them.

This is 8 cxb3590 in a 4x4 area. Selling these to a friend

What's Angela? Lol.

So if I use 12 CXMs I should put them all in series on a HLG-600-48a-6?

I run my cxb cobs (36V Nom) on a 42B driver with no issues except some wasted driver potential and maybe a small efficiency loss. I just wonder on an (A) type driver does lowering the V slightly raise the I slightly internally?

Because I don't have frame of reference on electrical shit a part of me feels like Simon from West World saying "Doesn't look like anything to me."

But I'm really glad you guys are here to help, I've come this far thanks to it. :)

I'm considering a new luminous build. Two bars, 3 CXM-22 light engines each. One HLG-185H-48 per bar, cobs run in parallel I suppose. It would run about $400 shipped and would replace the shitty light in my 3x3 pheno test tent. Thinking of running these with reflectors, or should I run lenses? Anyone recommend any lenses for the BJB holders?

Those will run in parallel, and I personally dont use lenses or reflectors because I dont think tey are necessary in a reflective tent, but I would run 120* lenses if I had to use something
