@Indacouch , yes, the seed membrane is choking the seedling. the husk is gone, but the membrane is like a birthing sack on a puppy; sometimes it doesn't break and you need to give it a helping hand.
gently mist the seedling and wait five minutes. then, with SURGICAL GENTLE HANDS, very softly rub the cotyledons between your thumb and forefinger until it slides off. if you feel any resistance, mist again, and wait another five minutes.
the day after the shell membrane is removed, the cotyledons will open, and your first single blade leaves will pop out, welcoming the air and light!
you can use tweezers, but they can actually tear the cotyledons, and if the membrane isn't loose, you can decapitate your baby plant.
