First grow, what is my plant telling me?

I'm growing an auto in soil and it's been flowering for 2-3 weeks now and is showing signs of something. The edges of the leaves are turning yellow and there are yellow/brown spots on some of them. Please let me know what you think is wrong. Thanks for the help.

In order to get a better diagnoses more Info is needed. How often are you watering? How often feeding? And what?

Watering about a gallon of water every 3-4 days. Using fox farm flowering nutes every other watering. My tap water tends to run high on the pH scale, could that be a possible cause?

Ok you have multiple issues imho. You have some nute burn from too much N. Also I belive you have a ph issue locking out calcium and phosphorus.

To the op, ya gotta remember, some leaf drop/yellowing is normal especially with autos. You do have some issues but id say just slow down feeding to a quarter for a couple weeks and add some epsom salt. Ffof soil has crushed oyster shell and lots of calcium so you may only need the mag part of the calmag. Calcium deficiency shows as white dots that look like white freckles. I dont see those.

Well hes states growing In soil but doesnt say what kind of soil. Leads me to believe run of mill unamended soil. Unamended meaning nothing to buffer the ph. You only have to not worry about ph in a good well amended soil. Not all soil ph buffer. Also if you look at a nutrient ph absorption chart looks like p and cal get lcked out around same ph. You may wanna save your snarky attitude for someone else.

Read post #15 by dr.who. Hydro growers worry about ph. In soil theres really nothing to worry about. Youll only chase it all over the place and probably do more harm than good. Theres also a million threads here that say the same if ya dont take my word for it.

There are numerous threads of people using unamended soil and people like you falsely telling them ph doesnt matter making them chase their tail

I think your letting them get to dry then using to much water. A gallon of water is to much if you are in 3 gallon (12 liter) pots. If your in 5 gallon you are probably OK.
Also using nutes every other watering is not the way to go. There should be two or three plain watering between using nutes.

How big are your pots?

Like I said I dont ph because my soil is properly amended. You are another google grower just cause you read something online doesnt make it right.
