Why do nearly all presidential candidates advocate for Universal Healthcare, but none deliver?

Here is a real threat.....McConnell starts the Senate rules by eliminating the fillabuster all together.

After all the years they have blocked the nations recovery with the fillabuster.

After he does this he only needs 50 votes.
Link? I will have to read later in the day. Almost 2am here.

According to the Supreme Court ruling in United States v. Ballin (1892), changes to Senate rules could be achieved by a simple majority

that's a known already.....the thing is he would need all those reps to back him except 2.

Then the Vice President breaks the tie.

Anyhow yeah it's late and we are in limbo right now as to what they will do.

Hmmm I guess the difference is I don't claim to know EVERYTHING as you do.....pretty obvious.
heh I dont know it all I have just been studying government since 10.....40 years. ( political junky )

I still make mistakes.....it's a complicated system in every facet.

I only hope there are enough true Americans in the Senate over the next 4 years that they do not just rubber stamp Paul Ryans and others plans...

Other than that?
I sure wish turtle face would retire. ( McConnell ) he has been bad for the Nation.

See here how since Obama they have pretty much stalled the entire government. That is a tactic to make the people upset from inaction....and of course mad at the government to sway elections. Also remember the two times they pushed the budget almost over the cliff? and then we lost world rating and confidence......

Republicans actually met the day before in a private meeting when Obama came into office and Planned to do this. And they are also one of the reasons the ACA is failing.....they put their fingers in it and made sure it would not have the backing and numbers of states/people required to be solvent and give the american people leverage over the medical industry.

the democrats used the nuclear option to pass through federal judges in the last session.

you are not only misinformed to a massive degree, but also uninformed and not a follower of current political events. combine that with being a dumb conspiracy nut and you should not be posting here.

I gave what I had to give. I have fed the homeless too, when I have extra to give. I don't give cash most of the time, I buy meals.

Wasn't trying to impress anyone.

Your post makes you appear very judgemental.

Here is why I don't mind to give cash. If I give a homeless person cash he can buy the food he wants.

If he is going to go buy a bottle of mad dog 45 malt liquor then that's on him. At least he won't have to break the law today to get his booze. And at least someone else won't have their property stolen.
