Their first legislative objective is not jobs or economy, it's gutting Medicare and the ACA. The hogs are going right to the trough.

cucks got CONNED indeed.

It'll be interesting to see what actually happens with the ACA.

I think Trump likes it in secret and will probably (at most) change the font on parts of it, put a white persons signature on it and the Republicans will says it's the best thing since sliced bread.

the people in kentucky our dismayed to be finding out that the KYNECT system which they love, is actually just obamacare, which they hate.

i was never one for the "can't wait to watch them suffer" strategy, but dear god i am hoping it hits them all hard.

Whatever they do, it's going to be stripped down in terms of subsidies for the poor. Medicare is slated for privatization, which means all overhead, CEO salaries and shareholder dividends get added on to high deductible plans. No cost controls either.

soooooeeeeey pig

I dunno.

I'd say there's A LOT of insurance industry lobby dollars that'd like to see the current captive market remain.

They is getting "motherfucking pizz-aid right now, son" even (indirectly) from the poor...

I'm not saying the Trump plan would take away the current captive market system. I absolutely expect Trump to keep that in place. What Ryan is proposing and I think Trump is dumb enough to accept is the movement of seniors from government run medicare to the same shitty captive market system.

I don't think Trumps ego would allow him to be remembered as "the one that fucked old people*".

Making money is fine, he'll lie and cheat because it's expected of him.

He wants to be remembered as a good president so I don't think he'll do it.

*Trump likes them WAY younger, like 50 years minimum

We'll see. I can't even guess what Trump is going to do. His choice of cabinet says a lot about the kind of government he's planning to run. There are several people in Trump's choices for cabinet positions are completely aligned with privatizing medicare.

Trump Picks A Champion Of Privatizing Medicare For Cabinet
Price, picked to lead the Department of Health and Human Services after more than a decade in Congress, helped craft House Speaker Paul Ryan’s plan to privatize Medicare — a position Trump opposed in the campaign.

So, yeah, he said something against the idea of privatize during the campaign but his choices say otherwise. I'd rather they leave medicare alone but if they do go after privatization, we'll also see how well the idea goes over with the public and how deep Trumps support goes.

Lol. Can you ask some of your classmates to make a guest appearance here? We want to talk with them.

Have you looked up tax credit yet? edit: lol
Do you have any indication that they were talking about nonrefundable tax credits?

Btw the poor would be eligible for vouchers.

I am guessing that these refundable credits (EITC specifically) are all you were aware of. My opinion is born out by you calling me a dumbass when I pointed out that the poor won't benefit from TRUMP's tax credits (a 100% true statement). You didn't point out that there is a "tax credit" (a political name for a welfare) that can benefit the poor. You intimated that they all do. Has Donald ,put any refundable tax credits in his plan? (Answer: no) He has loads of non-refundable ones (which are the norm).

BTW, disingenuous Pie, we were not discussing eligibility, we were talking about benefiting from them (or not). You know that. But, like TRUMP!, you crow about their eligibility while refusing to admit that there is no benefit. Or maybe you didn't understand and thought you really were getting money from Donald. Well you aren't. In fact I would not doubt if Donald and his minions try to eliminate the one you get now, the EITC.

Either way, if you were smarter you would realize how badly conned you are. TRUMP! is going to excel at everything you accused Clinton of and you will have his back the whole time.
