haha! well yeah it kind of was like that - when I decide it's time I need to do it quickly, before I start getting all weepy about it Plus she had "turned" on Sunday, somehow she started looking ready and those red trichs, which are all smaller too, did look fried. So that rushed me on, also, hey they're awesome as is!

A friend stopped by today to see her in her full glory, and he was somewhere around the 200g. I'm saying closer to 150g in the 150-200g range, as the lower buds, while they look same size as higher ones, are fluffy, so in weight will be about half of the hard upper ones. But hey, still amazing, a photoperiod couldn't yield more in that space
We'll see!

She did spectacularly, yeah, I didn't even realize how much so till we chopped the rest of her down yesterday lol

Yeah I've kind of lost the overview of how much electricity I'm using. When I started last year, my monthly bill went up by 20€, but I was running 150W HID + 200W CFL plus 24/7 low volume ventilation at the time, so more than now.
I had her under 50W for the first 24 days (whereby there was another plant getting 100W next to her, obviously that also shone over to her), then 100W for 1 or 2, then 150W till 12 days ago, so 200W only in those last days. If she hadn't had that lowtide in her health, I wouldve increased to 200W earlier.
But yeah, pretty economical on the electricity side!

Ah, and very good guess as far as I can tell at present!
Just, how much is a Henry VIII (young or old?! haha) and a Louis XVI (he was a skinny one, if my mind isn't playing tricks on me?) worth?!?

So yesterday, day 75, whilst part of the world was whetting their knives to trim their turkeys, the final cutdown took place in my closet
First, I took out the fan leaves as far as was possible without knocking the buds around.


Then, all the tertiary branches came off, leaving what I assume would have been the colas had I not LSTed, but instead lollipopped them. Of course in that case there wouldve been more bud up there, but t was just to give me an idea of the proportion of yield coming form different parts of the plant.


The buds on the tertiary branches, including all the larf, came to 530g wet.


Releasing the 6 bottom secondaries, I saw that they would've been about 75cm high had I not tied them down.


Their buds, the really nice hard kind, added up to another 230g.


So this girl gave me a total of 1040g wet bud in 75 days.


Even if that dries down to less than 1/4th (I only stopped watering the day I took down her main cola), that's a lot, and over 1g/W, which I haven't ever gotten before.
I'm pretty wowed and having trouble understanding this happened haha

I've just had to jar the top center buds, that was a tad tooo fast!
But they were smelling of hay, that sure rushed me lol
Just in the nick of time too, AFAIK 55% humidity is the lower limit for curing, and looks like those buds are juust over that So I didn't even weigh them yet haha, will do though next time I air them.

I've just taken some pix of the main cola, since I had to cut it up to get it into the jar.

Of course I left it as intact as possible, I know you guys have a weakness for big haha, may give it to my son for a Christmas present

So from 280g wet these centerpiece buds come to a weight of 71.4g at 58% humidity
(20.1 for the main cola)
Pretty exactly 1/4th of wet - extrapolated to the rest of the harvest, that would give a yield total of 260g. And that's way more than 1g/W, considering she got:
50W for 31 days (whereby there were 100W on the pineapple express shining over too)
100W for 3 days (with 50W shining over)
150W for 22 days
200W for 18 days
So what would the average wattage be for the grow?
My stellar early morning maths skills have just abandoned me - oh, no wonder, it's not early morning anymore haha
Taking a fuzzy estimate of 150W, that would be 1.7g/W
not bad eh

If the way I grew her has anything to do with this yield, I'm starting to feel a tingling of confidence in that I can actually take it up with you DWC guys on that Blue Dream grow!


I've put 3 boveda 62% in each 1.5L jar, just to push the humidity back up a bit, then I'll let them ride on 2 for 2 weeks or so.

I just had a test smoke, very smoothe, and very strong - but as always, you can tell it's like an uncut diamond. In just a few days, she'll start to unfold more facets!

Yeah it's just amazing in all respects - and you just sailed in here and told us how it is!
It's almost daunting to imagine putting out results like this with any consistency, which naturally would be my next goal

Taking the semantic path:
She got (estimated from the overlaps) 100W for 33 days of 75 = 100 x 33 / 75 = 44, which is the portion of total average wattage pertaining to that part of the grow.
Doing the same for 22 days of 150W (=44) and 18 days of 200W (=48 ) and adding them all up would give me a mean wattage of 136W.

Is that a totally nutty approach to calculating this?!
But more importantly, does the result correspond to what the average watts would be if calculated properly?
