We'll see. Like I said, you should get the goods while the gettin' is good.

Nothing fear mongering about what I said. If Trump successfully passes tariffs on imported goods from China, the price of your phones and electronics and cars and t-shirts and in your case large black dildos will go up, two or three fold. That's just economics.

I'm already well off, and of course I could use more money, but it's not about me. It's about our nation.

Let's hope.
see4, I realize you are speculating. Maybe he will get rid of the tariffs on our goods going the other way. And I know for a fact that there is a tariff on our sea food that goes to Europe and china. Fair trade has a ways to go and POTUS TRUMP will be addressing that soon.

You do realize export duties are set to regulate the GDP and is in a direct relationship to the value of goods produced and sold domestically, right? And you realize that if it weren't for export duties many goods produced here in the US would devalue, and more importantly could effect the value of our currency?

Conversely, import duties, or tariffs, are put in place to control the flow of goods into our domestic market, as to not saturate or overwhelm consumers. It's also closely related to GDP and currency valuation. Not to be confused with Trump's, currency influence argument.

I get the impression your not up on economics. Or perhaps you're more familiar with 'old school' ways of thinking?

See4, I just happened to know about tariffs in the fishing business because it effects what I get paid. During price talks the tariffs are part of the discussions . As long as there is a fair trade agreement worked out it will be a blessing. Maybe I will make more money with a different trade deal? Then holy shit, my whole crew would make more money. Fucking A, that sounds good.

Let's hope you're right. Unfortunately, I'm not usually wrong, and I think raising tariffs on Chinese imports along with dissolving NAFTA and TPP will lead to economic disaster. Let's hope I'm wrong.

He won't be able to. That's one of his many cons that duped 51% of this nation. The only way we can drastically shift our GDP way in our favor is to bring manufacturing back to the US along side raw materials. The problem is raw materials are scarce in the continental US, which means we need to import raw materials. Good luck with that when we alienate all our trade partners. And in doing so, do you think our trade partners will want to do business with us and our manufactured goods after we terminate NAFTA and TPP? My guess is probably not. I'm sure they will be forced to do so, but with severe limitations. And what do we plan to manufacture? Do we plan to be more self sufficient like the BRIC nations?

He wants to cut taxes, double military spending and somehow reduce the deficit.

He is full of shit. And 51% of the nation have been duped by him.

Let's hope I'm wrong.

Let's hope.

I don't think he duped more than 10-15% of the nation, this election was more about the " Fuck You" to the establishment politicians, social justice warriors, politically correct pussies, DNC fucking Bernie etc.

But that's assuming we will alienate our trade partners. Remember he's a business man. In numerous interviews he has said (and been chastised for) phrases like "nothing is off the table, meaning he would assess matters with an open mind right? I don't remember him saying "terminate" NAFTA, but renegotiate it. The Canadians and Mexico already said they want to renegotiate trade. He was going after China. It's been explained to me by people who are much more experienced in Econ than I am and while explaining I could understand, but it's so complicated. Like a giant Jenga puzzle. So many layers.

Yea, there's that argument too. But still a dupe.

The "fuck you" crowd duped themselves. It's politics as usual, just with a con man in charge.

Complicated indeed, best left to the pros (establishment). Not on the job training, cringe.

its easiest to say the 'uneducated' you know, the rednecks voted him in.when actually , everyone's just too embarrassed to admit that Hillary and her crooked campaign sucked that bad. especially when the media was pushing her all along. nobody wants to admit that there was a whole bunch of 'angry voters' including those Corso just listed.

My take on it is similar. Hilary's biggest mistake and DEM's is that they ignored a huge segment of the population (the middle class, democratic voters, particularly the rustbelt states) b/c they thought they were already a shoe in. They didn't listen to these people who are hurting and that was their biggest blind spot. Trump came a long and spoke right into their ears and he got their vote. I think he's more moderate than people give him credit for. I'm scratching my head as to HOW he's going to make all these dreams come true for America.

What annoys me is that the last time I checked this was a free country, and we were free to vote as we saw fit. I didn't vote for Obama but I respect that he is our president though I disagree with many of his decisions. I never dreamed of protesting and calling for impeachment when he was elected or being judgmental towards his supporters. This shaming BS that's going on for Trump supporters is just tiring. I guess we're free to have our opinions as long as it aligns with the "correct" one.

Yeah, probably. I'm sure people protested when Obama was elected the second time, though called racist if they did. I'm just annoyed with people so quick to be offended by ANYTHING. I swear it's the social media culture that is magnifying this in people.

Trump is offensive, period!
I'm tired of people telling others how to percieve ones tones, we have ears.
I swear it must be social media, lol come on.

see4, You and many others have been nothing but wrong for over a year. What the hell makes you think you are right this time? I have been right for years now. Remember the national boot in the ass day I predicted? Then I predicted that POTUS TRUMP would crush the bitch and fuck I was right again and I called that one way over a year ago. And now I predicted Trump will rock the planet, but in a good way. So relax while we watch POTUS TRUMP make america great again.
