Sure thing....I'm running a recirc system in 2 8x4 Tents with 6 plants in each tent with a scrog technique.... I have 24 x 4000k 37v T/B CXB 3590's in each tent.
I run Flairform nutrients and flush every 7 days but monitor top ups with a blue lab truncheon to keep an eye on levels along with a blue lab PH meter.
At the moment the 2 tents are 5 weeks apart in flowering cycle trying to create a bit of a perpetual harvests.

What strain do you have in there, Nice setup buddy.

So you bend them at a 90 or more, slightly below the next set of branching. Thats just what i do. Your plants look great!!!

Yeah mate that's correct 12 COBs in a 4x4 area...No this is my first run using the CXB's had some cheap crapping Chinese COBs before hand and they
didn't preform and were really expensive to run, 2 x 1200 COBs but not a recognized brand of chip! Got rid of them after the first run! Also had 2 300watt LEDs for veg
but flouro's were just as effective and cheaper to run.

Thanks Tex.....not sure of the stain live in a country where this is illegal so a bit tricky getting designer strains and set up equipment, I got 7 feminized seeds from a friend
and grew them out and cloned the ones I liked the look of when the went into early flower.

Nah...it would mean I would have to run 4 x 1000 watt HPS at around 4000 watts just too expensive and alarming for power consumption... the 2 tent set ups now
have 24 COBs in each and I'm only running 1800 watts of juice to power them.

If you don't mind, so would 12 cobs be like 3, 4 cob bars spaces 12 inches apart? Ive had this stupid little project going and i just don't know how do figure out what the foot print is going to be.

Ok I made up my own frame of 1 meter squared 3 rows of 4 COBs they suggest for the best foot print to have 4 rows of 4 COB's in a 4x4 space but I think it's a bit excessive
and for me the 3 rows of 4 COB's work well. The reason why I went with the 1 meter square frames was they were cheap and a standard size, if you want some specific
size of the profile on the frames that i used let me know.

100mm from one end of the tent a 200 mm gap in between the 2 frames in the middle of the tent and thought that would be OK because you have the 8 COB's in the middle of the tent providing
enough light coverage over the middle space of the tent. I think that's heaps of light coverage and remember light is only 1 factor to get right for a good growing environment....I must say though I do
like the CXB's....trust your eye!! There is a couple of good phone apps like RGB and RGB light sensor you can download on your phone and check PAR readings. Hope this helps.

Good question....they are not too bad but it's mainly to give you an idea about coverage with out spending a lot for a good light meter.

Yo Mongo, if your bars are 4' long line match them with the 5' side of your footprint. Then space the bars about 38" total, first bar at 0", then 19", then 38" on center. This pattern should give you a good spread in a 4x5' footprint. Does this help, are you running the cobs a 1400mA?

Fuck yes it helps, thanks!!!! So even though i put the chips 1 foot on center on the bars i can still go 0-19 o/c then 19-38 o/c? And yes i think there 1400mA. Id have to go look again. Thanks dude and if your sure about those measurements I'm going to rock those. So 1 foot on center apart is too close?

I think you would have some hot spots if your bars were only a foot apart. You want more spread, so placing the bars 19''s apart on center should fill your 4' side of your footprint. Then the bars themselves are 4' with 5 cobs, which should blast the 5' space very well. Damn your going to blow up that space. Should be able to yield well over a g/watt. What drivers are you running?

I notices with my array that between 12'' and 18'' away from the tops of the plants I get the best growth. Any closer and I get some bleaching.
