Hmmmm... some say 80 to 85, some say higherish, and evidently some like it lower... now i am confused about temps...lol
In flower I use an 80 (Temp)/55 (RH) rule and target within +-2 of that figure, it's worked well for me. I'd like to actually target more like 80/60 because I've seen better results but my area is terrible for PM and if I go beyond 55% RH (particularly during the dark cycle) it shows up at some point. According to this VPD chart it's not an ideal range but it's not practical to target the most beneficial ranges according to the chart or you'd likely end up with mold/PM.

According to this article/chart ideal Temp/RH ranges are shown in brown/orange:

Its hard to get out of the old 75f habit. It killing me... lol

So i think i would be more comfy dialling down to 80ish...

what do you mean "issues"?
Growth slows, leaves crisp/burnt or look like shit, smaller colas, just general health of the plants is crap in comparison. Again, no CO2 in that range, they can handle it if you're running CO2 and it's even beneficial but without it my experience has been no-go.

This is what I expect out of every plant, and that range does it for me:

with more watering in veg i noticed faster growth in my set up
dont like to run that high temps in flower concerned about stressing them and ive never had a crispy leaf from heat since HPS
most of the time people complain about fluffy larger nugs when running to hot in flower just curious

Yeah have seen that fluff result too if running in high 80's even for a short period. 78-80 I find pretty well perfect, but your RH needs to be in the 50-60% range at 80F, lower than that and the results can also change. It's a fine line between nice hard nugs/fat colas and fluff.

You were right..... 79f and 55 rh.... they have already responded really well thanks!

So 13 days since flip. Budlets showed up at day 9. Quickest I've ever seen.

Interesting with the watering. These went from 1 qt pots to 3.5 gal pots 15 days ago. 13 Days ago I flipped and... already I'm watering every second day. I've never had roots grow that fast before, which is the only way to explain how fast they're drinking already. I won't up pot in flower, so it seems I'll be watering everyday by the end.

And I've never had a hybred like this. It screams sativa in every way, except the colossal fan leaves... super broad. A couple are twice the size of my hand almost.

@Rahz

These girls like the cobs, always praying. They didn't care at all for HPS, always droopy.

So about two weeks now under the cobs and looking good. 22 days since flip and the drinking has calmed down. I think they went nuts drinking while stretching. Once that stopped they've been drinking at about the same rate as under the HPS.

Doing this to those leads at day 22 will take away apical dominance and yield you tons more bud.

Can you talk about your set up for a second? Looks great, plants look great and healthy!!!!
Sure thing....I'm running a recirc system in 2 8x4 Tents with 6 plants in each tent with a scrog technique.... I have 24 x 4000k 37v T/B CXB 3590's in each tent.
I run Flairform nutrients and flush every 7 days but monitor top ups with a blue lab truncheon to keep an eye on levels along with a blue lab PH meter.
At the moment the 2 tents are 5 weeks apart in flowering cycle trying to create a bit of a perpetual harvests.

In fact, i was debating whether or not to pull the tops down a bit just because my lights are at max height and the tops are a bit too close to the cobs...8ish inches or so.

Thanks for the tip...or rather ending the debate...lol ill giver a shot..

Ok so 12 covering a 4x4 i guess? And have you yielded out of there yet with said current set up?
