So i been working on this for a minute, and they finally gave me some samples today.i could not get home quick enough and clean these fuckers up for some pics.anyhow,im building a new shop and i will need 20 of these easy but i wanted to see if there was an interest in them so i can make them cheaper in bulk.if i get a decent response and can hit 100 with either size they will be much cheaper than what i just paid for these,120.00 for the biggie and 110.00 for the lil guy(prototype pricing).anyhow i think if i make them in larger orders i can send these to most U.S states for 65.00 (3 foot)& 75.00 (4 foot) .these are estimated # untill i can figure out what freight will be.plus im still waiting on some thinner stock that is quite a bit cheaper.these are 1/4 in thick x 6 in wide x 47.5in(4 ft) and 37.5in on the (3 ft)
the other bars are same size just using 1/8 in aluminum.but the thicker bars will make for nice heat sinks for all you crazy bastages using far reds and blue diodes.plus i will test the smaller 120mm heatsinks from robin to see if the bar helps the heatsink at higher wattages like running 62w on a 120mm.should work since the whole bar is solid aluminum but idk yet lol.of course i still need to plan a few holes for hooks to hang these, maybe this weekend i can get a few hung up .
in other news all this back n forth with a bunch of cnc dummies has me thinking about buying my own machine which will allow me to make any size custom bars for about 40 to 50 bucks each(depending on size) out the door
you think im crazy now, wait till my old lady see's the truck pull up with a 5000.00 cnc cutter lmao what
lil bar has the 120mm heatsink and the bigger one has the 140mm x 80mm heatsinks. oh yeah @robincnn thanks for changing those fuckers on me....again...shesh guy changes heatsinks like i change my draws
