1 - it's overpriced and not really 700w. Go spend some time in the led section and learn about cob leds. Blurple grow lights run hotter than cobs and don't have all the spectrum that plants crave. White leds are growing some unbelievable buds now and for the same price you could pick out the light, tent, filter and other parts that are higher quality.

I agree with grouch. Throwing it together yourself would be about 1/2 the price.
Cobs are the future of lighting...try to find a user that's unhappy with their cobs. Just check out growmau5's diy videos about COBS on youtube. I'm on my first run still with my new cobs, but I'm on track to break several personal harvest records.

Yupp, read all about it and seems really basic, I just have 2 questions.

1- Do COBS really have all the spectrums for plants through all stages or shouldnt I supplement reds etc
2- what is the actual power consumption of these here.

I need to keep actual power consumption down very far. What kind of configuration do you suggest?

Yes, cobs leds have a great spectrum that matches up close to the McCree Curve (what plants crave) I use 3000k crees myself for flowering but you can use 3500k - 4000k for veg and flower. You can add reds in down the road if you think you need them.

Starting out in a 4x4 I would go with 8 cobs @ 50w each minimum, but 12-16 would be best. Get the dimmable meanwell drivers and you can turn them down as much as you want when you don't need as much light.
