Russia has at least 50 of the worlds largest nuclear ICBM's that are so powerful their code name is SST Satan,for every real SST they have they also have hundreds of replicas,which makes it impossible for anybody to take them out on the ground or in the air,a single Russian Satan ICBM can destroy bunkers within 500 miles of the intended target,Russia didn't invest in super carriers like we did,they use a military strategy known as MAD,which is Mutually assured Destruction .
I was alive for the Cuban missile crisis & I've been alive when the USA & USSR went do defcon 2,which is 1 step away from all out launch of all 1st strike nukes,the world dodged destruction 3 times in my lifetime,I grew up in an era where half the houses had bomb shelters in their yard,my fathers home I inherited has a blast,fallout shelter below its basement that's now one of my audio rooms,the walls & ceilng in this room are 6ft thick reinforced concrete ,I removed the blast door & covered the walls with pine & installed a drop ceiling but its still a fully functional shelter with a half days work priming the diesel generator & resetting the blast door.
