I agree with you, Tamzi. This thread has been pretty much ruined by the childishness. Not to attack any one moderator... but this thread is a perfect example of the lack of rule enforcement on this site. I see it go on all day long. It is against the rules to be insulting to others. I know a moderator has been in this thread and seen all of this... and nothing has been done about it.
Anyway, I wish I could help you but I don't live in the UK... so I couldn't tell you where to take your bulbs. However, you could call your local recycling place and ask them if they take them.
