I am speaking to the experience I had. I don't ask random servers what they pull each night but I know I tip 20%. I also stop going to places with crappy service.

let me speak from my experience: yesterday you aid $400 a week was "a good wage".

i pointed out that it was actually called "below the poverty line" for a family like yours.

then you said "well, i meant 15 years ago, when i was flunking out of high school".

But who is the "we", though? Around here you can get condos for 35-40k and homes for 80-100k.

I agree to some point about business being "rewarded" by good behaviors. In a service based business, repeat customers should be a result of good practices. But you know as well as I do that there will always be people that will cut corners on basics.
