Shit. That's wet.Scary week for me, forecasting 6 of 7 days of rain , 100 mm rain total and averaging 40-65km/hour winds, might take a few of the small ones in for the odd night

All depends on whether the specific area is ready for all that water. My hometown sure is, but that's not everyone.Thats a normal week for me during wet season here....
Yes, I know you're all but a drowned rat in the wet season there lolIts only 4"....I can get that in a day, in an hour
Holy fuck, yeah thats a little bit ehGot 15" of rain in less than 90 minutes here once. Yeah, that fucked everything up for awhile all right, lol
I was flying from NM to PDX by way of LA yesterday, and had a window seat for that second leg. I imagine we were probably somewhere between Medford and Eugene when when it switched from relatively clear skies to 100% cloud cover. Stayed that way the rest of the trip and was steady rain when we landed. No rain in southern OR till October 16. per accuweather. Lousy for mushrooms but great for growers.
That's annual rainfall here,I think i have had that much over the last five years with the droughtHa, not that 4 inches isnt alot in a week, but 100mm sounds like alot more than it is
Hope you get through it. I'm on day 3 or 4 of a week of rain. I did a little early chopping on the Stinking Rotten Bastard. Sadly I am learning what you guys mean by full melt down mode.Scary week for me, forecasting 6 of 7 days of rain , 100 mm rain total and averaging 40-65km/hour winds, might take a few of the small ones in for the odd night
My biggest downpour this season was 3 1/2 inches in 30 minutes. Its only 4"....I can get that in a day, in an hour

Right now WU says its a mere 15% chance of rain... and yet its pouring rain outside. Go figya.
We got 15" in 90 minutes once, 20 years ago. It was nasty. Flash flooding, people died, damaged the bridges, massive damage all over town. It even derailed a train right in the middle of the city, making it much more difficult to get back and forth. My biggest downpour this season was 3 1/2 inches in 30 minutes.
I remember a bad one at Love Canyon thirty odd years ago. Sister was in the mountains that day, but luckily wasn't there. Those canyon flash floods are scary as hell.We got 15" in 90 minutes once, 20 years ago. It was nasty. Flash flooding, people died, damaged the bridges, massive damage all over town.
