I know that the potency of a given strain is reliant on genetics. However, since a commercial grow is aimed for money and isn't tended to as properly, or harvested/cured at the appropriate time like a smaller personal grow, the full potential and potency of the genetics isn't realized.
OK, lets say you bought a sack of weed that gets you really high, but it most definitely was a commercial grow. Big Buds are really flat, and it's full of seeds. But it got you really high and it had a pleasant high as well.
Would it be safe to assume that given the fact that it was a commercial grow and it was full of seeds (Pollinated), and not carefully tended, can we assume that it has some good genetics that would be enhanced by proper growing/harvesting/curing techniques?
Am I making sense? Can bag seed have good genetics that are capable of 15% to 20% THC content if grown and tended properly?
