Tupur runs hot in the The beginning but it's not anything to worry about it will get better quick it's something that they put in it that shows up on your meter .You will probably never get to 5.8 in a runoff. As a matter a fact runoff is really useless in coco unless you think you are way over feeding . It can show you that to some extent. Epsom SALT is still salt just keep that in mind . Go light on it. Use liquid mag for best results or even raw makes a powdered mag but I've never used it. I used 2 mls per gallon every other water with the mag until week3 flower and my plants were perfect . Even a touch too green sometimes but that's personal preference not nute probs.
What should the ppm of my run off be when I water usually? I'm at 400 ppms and slowly creep up until I start to flower. Should it be right around whatever solution I put in or should it be less?
For the 10th time now stop using the calmag and use mag only NOT Epsom salt you are not growing organic and salt is salt. If you stop the cal and use only mag at 2 ml a gal this will all go away

Yes that looks like the start of mag def. that nute line runs pretty good on the calcium . You will get it bro . Just keep at it .

This is toxicity of some sort or another maybe to much salt my first guess would be n but with all the Epsom salt and shit it's definitely to much salt all together give it just water for a week as need then start a quarter strength fert I usually feed feed water if the leaves curl down give em another watering be for u feed I only increase nutes when the bottom yellowing does not stop with continous feedings
Thanks for the insight and I have come to the conclusion that I was watering to frequently. The roots systems wasn't developed enough to be watering that much. I let them dry out a little and they started to perform better. How ever when I did water them my run off was pretty high like around 900 ppms when I was giving them around 600 ppms. They also were showing a real mag deficiency but the new growth looks a lot better but not as fast as I would like.
When your run off is higher than what u put in your plant is not using every thing you have given it
During certain sub-stages, plants will excrete root exudates. They might increase runoff TDS. Runoff tds measurements are extremely arbitrary, because they vary, not only according to the presence or absence of root exudates, but are completely dependent on the volume of water irrigated.
