Ah, great to see some decent plants! :D
Good job bringing those mystery gals back round, to me it looks like they're already starting to take off!

And the others are gorgeous! Though yeah I really get your canopy struggles - it's the point when you start exclaiming at them - as in "WTF are you gals doing?!?!" LOL
Pretty hard to train them anywhere too at this point, as the space is full - though I see you've got the left ones leaned over a bit so they look kinda safe. Compared to the right ones, anyways! :rolleyes: OTOH, they don't look any worse for it - do they have a long ways to go?

I did some research on the nutrient in the above fruits and I think I've got a lot of P and K heavy stuff there. Surprisingly, ground cherries are one of the best sources of phosphorous in any fruit and I've got lots of them growing in my garden!

I blended it and mashed it all up with brown sugar and molasses (used less sugar than the 1:1 ratio of sugar to fruit recommended on TUF site - more like 1-2)
I've now got about 4L of puke-like sludge sitting on a dark shelf in the garage in a plastic jug with the lid sitting loosely on top.

I'd like to get an analysis of it done for NPK, Calcium, Magnesium, and PH. Hoping my chemistry prof aunt will help with that, but if not, anyone have recommendations on a lab to do this?

So it's been 2 weeks since I started brewing the fermented fruit bloom fertilizer and this is what it looks like:IMG_20160813_1245566.jpg

So Don or anyone else, do you think I should strain it out now? What should I use for that? I'm thinking cheese cloth.

Think it's ready to use or should it sit for a couple weeks more after the solids are strained out?

Advice would be superpreciated.

Mine was quite a bit darker than that. But It's hard to know by looking and I'm no expert. If it's sweet smelling with a hint of alcohol and 'IF' it's stopped giving off a lot of gas, then yes, strain and store. BUT, it's probably better to check it regularly to release any gas.

Thanks Don. It actually shows lighter in that picture. Prob cause I set it in the sunlight just to take that pic. It does smell just like you said. As for letting off gas, it's very hard to tell.

I'm going to use some cheesecloth to strain it and just monitor it and occasionally open it up.

Appreciate the advice.

I feel like I need a disclaimer here, LOL, if you tighten a lid on that shit and don't check it.......it WILL explode on you, the bacteria doing the work will still be producing co2

What a difference 2 weeks makes...................not been watered since re-potting and ready to flip when I get round to some trimming up and taking cuttings. Think I've finally got my soil tuned in, apart from the sativa still showing signs of over-watering, they all look really healthy and now showing real vigour.IMG_4851.JPG IMG_4932.JPG
Starting to think the back one on the right is a Fat purple, it's got the wide leaves that the males I had showed.

No, they're in re-amended soil. My main room will eventually be either no till or sip beds or a combo of both, but I want to get a few real top quality mother plants established 1st and beds are no good for pheno hunting.

One of the 4 mystery plants were male, the other 3 are confirmed females, I still think it'll be tight in there with all 3 plants, but if it does get too overcrowded, there'll be space in the flower room soonIMG_5270.JPG

No sign of thrip damage.........YET........................ it's when I can't spray em with anything that the thrip show up

I ran the Prayer Tower indica and Dream beaver, they both had a candy store/gumball flavor. Prayer tower was gumball with a mango taffy thing going. Dream Beaver was gumball/pineapple candy. I was looking at trying out Prayer Tower sativa this time, about to put them in soil...

Fingers crossed, I'm a total sucker for bubblegum/fruit flavours, I own up to a sweet tooth when it comes to bud

Yeah, cobs and mono's are separately dimmable. I've been toying with the idea of digitally controlling them with arduino's, but not sure my head can handle any more electronics research at the mo.

The 1st photo is with cobs dimmed to minimum and mono's maxed out.
