Yes.
And no. ;-)

It's part of the equation when you make your judgement.
A hungry seedling will eat it cotyledons (ie. they'll fade)...but they fade later anyway :roll:
In your case I'd say it's okay for nutes for a while...as you've already worked out :lol:

Also alternate feedings with plain water. Some say water 2x. So Feed Water Water Feed etc.

Sorry one more thing. Keep using the grow nutes for the first 2-3 weeks of flower. The girls will need the extra nitrogen.

Thanks a lot for the tips. I like the idea of going easy on the nutes. I'd much rather underdo it than overdo it.

Cheers, I'm sure it will be fine. My expectations in terms of yield are very low, so even if I under-feed I'll be happy in the end I'm sure. Just enjoying the process.

Also Day 9 update (Temp resting at around 27c, and RH is at around 38%, slowly rising)

Day 10 update, temp at 29c, rh at 35%. It's going to be a dense plant I think, it isn't stretching it all. My soil is looking kind of bad, I assume because I have "hard" water, with a lot of calcium? :/

Think of it like this. Right now the plant is concentrating on establishing its roots so most of the actions is going on behind the scenes. One day you'll wake up soon enough and it's off to the races.

The pot is fine for a little while. Let the roots catch up to the pot size.
You seem to be fixating a bit on this. Auto flower strains don't do well with any stress so with them you start in their final pot.
Photos you can play around with. So let it grow up a bit first. You'll know when it's time.
I've seen someone on here flower their plant in a solo cup.

Fixating on what? The transplanting? I just don't want to risk it becoming root bound. But you're right. I should give it more time. :)

Day 12 (Temp 29c RH 40%) Seems like the tips have gotten burnt a bit by the LED being too close (I think?) that's my best bet at least. The LED were 40cm from the top of the plant, now I raised it to 50cm.

The rule I always read is one months growth per gallon of soil.
And btw two out of 10 of my BD from hso was very indica dom. Most are a good mix with 3 being very sativa dom. My indicas grew like that at first too.

She looks super awesome..
But the dark leaves and burnt tips is from prob too much nitrogen.
You are doing an awesome job tho. Just beautiful

I don't mind indica dom tbh! I'm just happy to be growing :D And if your rule of thumb is correct I should have 1 month worth of grow in the current pot.. Ish.. Probably going to transplant at 3 weeks, just to be sure. (That's how long the nutes from my soil is supposed to last at least)

Thanks a lot for the kind words..! I'm loving the look as well, I find myself checking her out a few times a day.. But.. Where would the nitrogen come from? My water? Or the soil mix?
