Should be in the beginning of the thread.
I water w/ a pump, hose, & wand. This room takes a 15 gall. Rez.

How's the girls under the Pro-9?
Do you like your Maxi too?
Yea man I like both the Johnson and the Pro9. Im using the Johnson over a flood table and I threw a few plants on to see how it runs and so far so good! I'm having some issues with the plants under the Pro9 though. At first, I was thinking it was too much for the plants since theyre only a little over a week into flower and they're wilting, but I think it's more of a pH fluctuation issue. I'm using ebb buckets with those. I changed the rez, set it to 5.8 and within 12hrs it was back up to 6.8! I'm running tap, but my tap is 130ppm and 7.0pH. Maybe it's the chloramine? I'm kind of in a funk at the moment with it.

I don't know if the top lighting is needed as much as everyone thinks. The blades have some serious wattage and every bit of it is being evenly distributed throughout the whole plant. It's engulfed in light. Regular panels pump an ass load of photons to the top but lower branches are definitely neglected. I think the only problem people see is that it's just different and it's out of the norm. The plants inside it and not under it are pretty damn good if you ask me. im sort of thinking about picking up some of them between the groups of plants I have. Not sure if they are fully customizable though. I'd need a blade then 4' space blade 4' space then another blade and more just for side lighting ad not too cross bars. Actually fuck it I could just make them with strip LEDs with a higher wattage. Or even t12 led replacement bulbs mounted vertically.

Here's a pic of one plant grown under one SE 250. Plenty of penetration below 30"

R/O water my friend.

I'm seriously considering. I bought a tall boy supposed to filter out the chloramine nd some other minor particles, but my ppms stayed the same still.

The only thing I'm holding back about the r/o is my setup is in the basement. I have a shop sink and it is connected directly to my water source via copper pipes. There's no pvc tubing to drill into so I'd have to cut the pipe and hook it up like that. Otherwise, I saw that make a sink nozzle you can screw on and use it that way. I think I'd do that. The only issue is if I setup a 50gal rez to fill with a stop valve, how does the sink know when to stop running the water once the stop valve is engaged? Like you have to turn the knob to turn the water on, but the stop valve won't do anything to the knob to turn the water off so how does that work?

The faucet can be under pressure. The only thing i don't like about that setup is if the float valve fails you have a major problem. Maybe install a sump pump while your at it

Would I need to install a float valve and auto shut off valve or just the float valve alone?

Im looking at these since they come already installed with the auto shutoff valve...

what's the difference between the value, universal, and ro drinking water lines?

I don't use ro so I dont have a clue about the different systems available. Maybe hybrid does. I also haven't heard of an auto shutoff. I have a float valve installed on my resivour but I shut down the water when I leave. Everything should be able to stay under pressure. One thing I do though is slightly close the valve to lower the pressure in case there is a failure. I'm also on a well and if there is a problem I'd rather have the water at half power then full. Could possibly save me from needing a new well pump if ther is a problem.

Overcrowding isn't good in schools, movies, concerts, restaurants, planes, trains, and grow areas

You should be able to get same result with ~ 10%+ fewer plants

I know quite a bit about ro systems. What are your daily water requirements?

It's for me lol.

I'm running my ebb and grow system and my plants are wilting and yellowing immediately when I put them in flower under the Pro9. I'm using tap and I think it's the pH fluctuations. My tap is 130ppm and 7.0 so not bad water, but it's still tap. Filled my rez and set it to 5.8. 12Hrs later it's back up to 6.8. Set it back to 5.8. This morning up to 6.2. So I think the tap is still messing with my pH and causing lock out. I got the 55gal rez, a 40gal rez, and a 25gal rez for veg. Hydro guy said he's hook me up with a 200gpd system, but I want to make sure the tap is the issue.

Is the light high enough? Like an idiot I had lenses on the se-450's about 24" away and I had some serious leaf problems. These lights are no joke.

Your right petflora but unfortunately I'm growing ditch weed autos and they aren't easy to control and also fairly unstable. So I could und up with 4 to 8 oz each. most growers get under 4 oz from them and grow 20 of these in a space my size. I figured out how to make them huge and when it gets to busy I can pull some out and stick them under additional lights.

Do you bubble your water for at least 24 hours with an open rez (no cover) ? That's always a must.
130 PPM out the tap calls for an R/O tank IMO.

nope, right in and mix away...i'm running a tall boy filter too
I've always bubbled the water for a min. Of 24 hours. I use a high powered air pump that allows up to 8 stones.
I was under the impression The filter mostly does pariculants.
Mine goes in @ a ph of 9 & after bubbling, it goes down to 6.8.
Thats most likely why your water ph keeps raising on its own.
Must a bubble.

Talked to the hydro gut 2 who said our water is good but high in alkalinity due to the limestone. but he said he thinks a N deficiency and wants me to run his line based off Dutchman terms. He also told me it's super concentrated and he maxes out at 400ppm flower

@PetFlora this shot was taken 4 weeks before I chopped. There isn't much hitting down low.

Wow! Those colas are no joke! You're killing it bro.

Started topping veg today. I leave about a 1/4", then pinch the cut to seal the heal. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

The Amare is so freaking Awsome!
image.jpg image.jpg
The HH seams to be doing better w/ the added white. Might be just what it needs. I hope so, can't afford another loss like last time. image.jpg

The Cloaks great w/ the added density for what I want to achieve. Bigger buds. Last run, the buds were mid-small but all dense. If I had a trim machine, I would've been able to submit a much larger dry weight yield but wasn't up for trimming that lil stuff. I see why the commercial growers love it though. They don't hand trim, for them it's all about weight. I'll open it up for all 3 bays next run n go w/ 6 plants probably.

the shorter lights really look alot brighter.so many small buds might not have been the lights fault ,just soo many budsites last time.i dont mind smaller buds.they dry better in my humid basement.i also used to use a spin pro and now use a powered trimmer so dont mind nice hard small to medium sized buds.looking great as usual!with the price drop on cxbs ,not sure i would spend the money on the sun cloak but i do love the set up!
