So week into flower and my plants look droopy. Any ideas?
How high off the plants is that Pro-9?
I'm not sure your plants are mature enough to handle that light, that close, on full bore.
If it's any less then 3' off the canopy w/ those particular plants (look a bit young)
I'd consider running half power or raising the light.
Vic. Sent you the PAR readings w/ that light right? Very intense beast. I'd try to get at about 1000 ppfd to start. I believe you have much higher #'s then that right now.
Or try singing to them!!! Lol! Although that may make them sadder! Ha!
But it looks like over or under watering like Sixstring2112 said.

Wtf!! Dude your hps photos just loaded on my end. Damn bro that's intense.
Thanks! You know how we do it!
Just finished De-fo last night. Not easy trying to work reaching up from under the trellis. Must've took me 8+ hrs.
I don't usually De-Fo. Sometimes. This was one of those times I guess.

Very upset today. Woke up to see my SunCloak on during lights out. 5 hours of light on during lights out. Uuuggghh! Faulty timer.
Loving the mechanical timers on the HPS room. They're the only way to go!
image.jpg I've posted this pic before but figured it needs to be on this thread.
Growers want efficiency, then they need to install that 220. image.jpgKind've messy at the moment. Always work in progress. Ha!

why havent you tried to build something yet to fit your empty spaces bro? step down off that wallet and order up some diy cob parts sonz !!!
would like to see some more pics when your done loli poppin those bitch's (:
Monster crop anyone? Kills me to Loli-Pop. Had some good budding branches here. Ohhh, it's not good to cut branches during flower & especially not good to have lights on during lights out the very same night. image.jpg
All cleaned up. I basically measured 32" from the tops of the plants giving a lil extra, then cut.
image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
Here's some halo house fixtures as my DIY attempt! Not really though. They suck. 16watt Bridgelux 3k's. The spot-lights work way better having optics n all. But boy do they get hot. Hotter then they're worth probably (spot-lights). I can't wait to build some pin-finned bars @ 4k-5k to put above the Cloak. Not that it needs it. I just would like to add blue to the Spectrum. image.jpgimage.jpg They easily mounted to the cross bars provided.

You lollipop and defoliate? I read its best to defoliate so you didn't have to lollipop. I have been reading a lot on it and seen amazing results with removing leaves.

What kind of cob and driver do those recessed/halos use? That's a trip to see a fin heatsink on the top of it and a little driver on top. Nice wiring job. Lol how is it even done? Wired to a socket with what? I've never seen a socket adapter you can plug wires into?

I haven't always. I mean yes, I always lol-pop but my last Cloak run i did not.
And my trim partner accuses me of not popping enough when she has to trim pop-corn. It just gets popped off for oil now.
But, having sucker branches that do not get enough light takes away energy from the top colas.
Although, I feel if you can at least prevent shade, they will produce nice bud. Some plants like Original Blueberry get nice hard bugs down low w/ just the slightest of light. Others do not. So, one must learn their strains to know. I leave a lil extra at the bottom on new strains to find out.
De-Fo isn't for all strains. Some have leaves few & far between. They don't get it. Sati as a skinny leaves, they get less. But it all depends on your grow style really.
I've had good results w/ De-Fo.
Basically though, if you can provide your plants w/ full illumination, they will reward you in return.
That's why I'm big on side-lighting.
I do both sometimes to increase the plants energy going to the well lit areas.
If you notice, my led room didn't get much De-Fo. It actually got allot more then it looks but some people strip their plants down to nothing. I don't agree w/ that method.
De-Fo should be done at day 1 & again at day 20. This prevents the plant from having to heal itself during prime budding stages.
I use TechNaFlora, Thrive-Alive B-1 Green to help w/ healing.

Those are recessed lighting Halos for household use. They come that way for easy replacement of old fixtures. I just clipped them onto the cross-bars. They'd rock w/ optics but w/o are useless.

I know that. But it's obviously a COB hence the heatsink and a driver on top. What brand, how many watts?
It is crazy how FAT indica leaves can get and how ANNOYING it is when they block light. Sativa are a blessing in that aspect but I never tried em.

Dont let Ecosunlite see this post. I'm actually really surprised that your se450 actually DOESN'T use meanwells. I was almost sure they did.
I do like the new "pro" lines new xp-g clusters. They look fuckin BRIGHT.

You're right about your top lighting. It just is... lacking. Time to nut upand build 4 bars with 4cxb3590s on pins. You know, the classic design.

Planted 4 n added some new strains again. Don't even know how many strains I got now. But they're all top-notch.

4.5 days later n PDow! Full moons here so by the end of the moon cycle these will be fully rooted. I clone by the full moon! image.jpg
Last set of clones only 8 days or so laterimage.jpgThese are the new ones planted last nightimage.jpg
These here are some I've been trying to keep smallimage.jpgNext run , HPS & LED

SELECT-SPEC for freshly rooted clones
image.jpg
Big CFL + 2, growing my Purple Punch which is between the hoods not really getting much HPS light. Fattening up!
image.jpg Was planning on adding 2 more 600's now that the Mini-Split's in.
Well, thought I needed to catch up on the journal.
Alls good except I had a timer issue today, throwing light on my girls for 5 hours after lights out. Almost went w/ 36 hours of darkness in attempt to fix any possible problem that may have occurred but didn't.

Time to smoke a fatty w/ scissor hash on it!:bigjoint:

So your not growing in a tent like the majority? lol shit man that's all awesome. Great write up on the lights too. As for Ecos opinion I could t care less. The older panels dont use meanwell drivers but all top bin best of the best parts. Hybrid mentioned it yesterday and I asked them a dozen times on binning and they don't have a clue. sure they have option but they are just thrown together with no reasoning behind it. I waited over a month for my light to come in with the wrong plug end on it and eco told me just to shove it in. Yeah sure thing bud. Cloak is a pretty bad ass setup but I'm Amare all the way.

I gotta say hybrid... Thats kinda wack spending 3k on that suncloak and still having to hang ufos and shit above it, heh.
It doesn't actually need those little lights above it. I did that to add some blue. Just my preference. Plus I just never stop adding light to all my grows, Hybridway!!!

32" blades came in. Setting them up tonight.

SunCloak Plant asseccment, huge, strong, n healthy! No signs of deficiencies. Pretty even growth from bottom to top!
image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
There are still 80 diodes going up the vertical bars. So, same amount of diodes, same power supplies, same wattage draw, 16" shorter blades, allowing for approximately 1/3 more light density then the 48" blades. Hoping this will get me the big buds!:weed:

Long night! Just finished feeding both rooms. This is allota work. Anybody who thinks this is a walk in the park, is sadly mistaken.
I thought I was lacking light for this grow but I just did the math n it's about 45 watts a sq'.. It's still only 200 watts a plant.
Still think 3 plants under the Amare is to much. One of those plants could take up the footprint just about if I opened it up a little. A Pro-4 would be perfect

Well, the SunCloak is beaming. I'm glad & very grateful the owner (Doug) sent me the 32" blades for the bubble!
Alls good!
Even the HH seams to be doing well. But only time will tell.

I don't know if the top lighting is needed as much as everyone thinks. The blades have some serious wattage and every bit of it is being evenly distributed throughout the whole plant. It's engulfed in light. Regular panels pump an ass load of photons to the top but lower branches are definitely neglected. I think the only problem people see is that it's just different and it's out of the norm. The plants inside it and not under it are pretty damn good if you ask me. im sort of thinking about picking up some of them between the groups of plants I have. Not sure if they are fully customizable though. I'd need a blade then 4' space blade 4' space then another blade and more just for side lighting ad not too cross bars. Actually fuck it I could just make them with strip LEDs with a higher wattage. Or even t12 led replacement bulbs mounted vertically.
