changing bong parts

I have had a glass bong for about a year
today I was looking at perculators and was wondering if I can buy a glass on glass down stem and get an ash catcher ect.

ah i have the same problem in one of my bongs. the ring that keeps it from going all the way down broke off and now its stuck in there! so i decided it was time to buy a new one! a ROOR!

most headshops sell diffuser downstems...thats what i have in my bong and it give off a real clean taste...

then you can just fit an ashcatcher on the end there and be all set...

as for your stem not coming out...do you have a rubber ring? try using water and twisting...maybe post a pic?

all of the roor diffusers are glass on glass.
can I get a glass on glass diffuser downstem that will work in my non glass on glass pipe?

heres what i did...i bought an acrylic bong an took the metal slide out...i bought a glass on glass diffuser and a glass on glass bowl. then i got a plug thing(they sell them online as well as any head shop) and plugged up the carb...so my cheap plastic bong became a glass on glass bong with a diffuser
