I'm doing a little experiment just for fun to compare cloning in an aerocloner to cloning with nothing but a bucket of water with some air-stones in it. I have had clones sprout roots in nothing but a cup of fresh RO water that I change every day, so I don't see why this wouldn't work.
I may add a minor amount of nutrient solution just to bring the ppm to about 100. Debated adding clonex to one bucket, and do a control one without it, just to see if there is any significant difference (haven't needed clonex for a long time).
I will put each cutting in a neoprene disk and place it on the water...they just float around like lily pads.
Curious if anyone clones this way or has tried this?
Will let you know the results.
