Yep cucumber beetle..some have a different amount of spots on them and can vary in the damage they do

Bugs are more damaging than beetles cos they suck etc to do the damage whereas beetles bite...im not definite about it so i wouldnt put my life in it.
Some of those yellow beetles/bugs may be of the variety that can help so do some research im sure @TWS pointed those beetles out to me a couple years ago
