Last I checked mods should be a little outside/above it all... how's it cool to be a bully because you have some "power"? How's it cool that some people can treat others like shit cuz they're your friends, but some not? You wanna be rude, why not do it under your own regular scn and not a mod one? I would think mods try to set some sort of example for how people should be behaving.

How am I supposed to trust that things are being handled in any way fairly or impartially? How am I supposed to feel like the admins of this site care about the user's, with that happening? How is any user?

Fact is, there's no power there... this is an online forum, it's cool, but my recent hyperactivity here is cuz I'm bored, and bed ridden right now... and then I may not post again for a year, or ever... boot me, oh well. It doesn't really reflect poorly on me, i won't affect me at all. I mean, hey it's great being here, shooting the shit, hearing some good advice, "meeting" some cool people... but c'mon now.

Maybe this just isn't a place for racists. Why should they be allowed to sow discontent and discord here. They're not afraid of making other people uncomfortable or frightened. Why should they be welcomed. Its a pot forum not a everything is bad because of blacks forum.

Sucks to have to be exclusive... but if you don't like the group, or can't follow the guidelines of a least semi-civilized behaviour, why should we all have to put up with it (and it does spew into totally fine threads). I've had a few of those people find other postings I've made somewhere else and go in there just to curse me out. Seriously, cyber stalking? sad.

Heats rise, tempers flare, some people will "fight" but this is a little endemic... like a small but virulent cancer. And when you got cancer, first you cut, then you chemo... thankfully we already got the meds

Buck wasn't always like this but since I joined around the last election the stupid shit he's gone up against has fried his last nerve. I don't blame him for writing what he does he's matching some posters elegant racism with absurdity because its the same shit.

but also, just in case... no, I don't care that much, but it is an issue, and let's say if this forum did mean a lot to me (I'm sure it does for some) or I was involved, I'd hate to see that being how RIU does things, on a personal level. It's not even unprofessional, it's rude, and free forum/volunteers or not, there's generally standards of behavior of members and mods alike.

Let's say a live free convention staffed by volunteers... would you want to hang out get cursed at by the staff? Or watching them do it to others, even if they were nutters? I'd rather not... I'd rather they just get them out and ban them, if it's like that. Why flame?

I think we all know that sort of behavior, and the environment that fosters it, is what leads to forums being crap, and then useless... this place is, i nothing else, a pretty good source or good community based info and support. I like that, and rather have it be better, not worse.
