90 CRI versions don't cost any more from Citizen, unlike Cree. And our friend @BOBBY_G here took a chance and ordered some to stock for DIYers. I suspect they will sell out quickly.
im gonna go out on a limb and say that 90 cri versions from cree wouldnt cost more from cree but vendors get better breaks at qty which is why 3500k 80 cri 36V are the cheapest cxb3590s around. i may be wrong (i dont work with cree, only resellers)

i ordered the most of
3500k 80 cri
3500k 90 cri
3000k 80 cri

and only have 20-30 each of
3000k 90 cri
2700k 90 cri
2700k 80 cri

all 1212 and 1825

1818s on order but several weeks out

i have my own ~1800W build and at least 6000W of builds im doing for friends (so far) so not sure how much ill have left for DIYers. lead time is so long with citi its a guess as to what people would want 8 weeks from now. i have a feeling once my colorado friends show off their rigs ill be building some more

its has 1% tolerance, the 0,1%was out of stock. Would take to much time to wait for them

The 0,1% version i did order too, i will use them for future measurements. First they need to come

estimated Beam-angle(50% FHWM ) for the CLU058 is less then 100°.
Wouldn't we expect that to be 120 degrees for both cobs? Those numbers look a little...slanted, like the cob was tilting down and to the left viewed from above.
Polar Radiation Pattern
In this chart it looks like both 1825 and Vero 29 have 50% FHWM close to 90°.

In this chart below from Vero 29 it seems 50% FHWM close to 120°. Citizen does not provide this chart

Cree datasheet looks like 115°. :cuss:

I think all cobs have very similar radiation pattern. 50% FHWM close to 120°.
COB holders may change it.

Thanks, robin...but not according to the data sheets? And does the Vero 29 contradict itself? I saw the same 90 degree spread in polar chart for the 1825, and @guod seemed to confirm less than 100.

@Malocan, did give you his beam angle calculation spreadsheet? Does the CXB3590 match the 1825, give or take?

Testing cobs at a fixed distance across manufacturers depends on identical spread at the sensor, or it's all out the window. That's why I keep bringing it up.
