Well the green pot turned out to be a male.... beginning to think that pot is cursed lol...

Blue pot hasn't showed signs yet, so I'm hoping that means it's female. My last grow went EXACTLY like this. The male showed after about a week of 12/12. The female takes about 2, maybe a little more.

Cold temps and no food can cause you to get males.

Definitely need to feed them if you want to get good results. I have used straight PK the whole way through. Plant was pale but the flowers were big and frosty!

GH FloraNova Bloom is a great first nute. Simple and much like the Lucas formula.

This stuff is like mud and is messy and needs to be shaken very well! It is also a little expensive.

Any good veggie fert from Home Depot should be fine. Make sure it is made for food.

Day 1 Flower update.

Noticed about 6 female pistils today making this a girl! Same result as my last grow, one boy and one girl. Really makes me regret losing my third place t early in this grow.

But anyway there are a few updates.

1. Ive added 2 more warm spectrum bulbs for flower. Plan on adding 4 more.

2. I've started a organic flower nute, first time ever using nutes. After research this is the best I could find around my area. May be better but I was comfortable with this so it made sense.

That's about it. The whole stem structure is really thick, looks 100% better than my last grow at this point. Hoping to yield a little more as well.

My local home depot. I'll post an update tomorrow. The plant is almost done with the flower-stretch. It's almost 4ft tall

Week 2 of flower ( going from first sign of sex).

Still feeding the flower nutes about every other time I water. So maybe once every week.

Leaves look nice and green, the temps are staying perfect. Still no sign of knats after I had the problem a few weeks back.

This grow is SOOO much easier than my last. No nute burn or anything, I'm very happy with the soil I'm using. So I think I'll rock with it for the next few grows.

Week 3 of flower

Still feeding the nutes every 2 waterings. Got a little hotter than normal in grow space, plus I needed to water that day. So she got a little droopy. Watered before light out last night and she JUST came on so I'm sure she will perk up soon.

Other than that its all the same. Ive started 2 more plants that I'm going to be doing 12/12 from seed. Just to experiment a little bit. I'll have pics once they are bit taller.

Side note, probably won't do Sativa's for awhile, I think for my setup a shorter indica would do better. Still like this plant and it's cool seeing it start as the runt and then be half my size lol. Just to tall for the setup I have, wish I would of lollipopped before I flipped to flower.

I def will soon , I need to make another grow space anyway so I'll look into that for lighting.

Can I use it for veg & flower?

Yeah. Make sure you have your veg switch on as well as your flower switch during flower. The Flower switch, you only turn off if you want to save energy for veg.

Hey shady thought I'd check in and see what's happening. Have you finally graduated from blue pot/green pot?
I'm having some issues with unruly sativas on my second grow as well. 2x4x5 tent 600w hps

I have my current grow in the blue pot lol. It's ok but I ran into some heat issues so it's not as beloved as before.

Should still turn out better than my last grow. So it's a win in my book. I'll post an update in a few days. Still has a long time to go. Thinking it may take 10 weeks to finish.

I've started two more as well. They are only maybe a little over a week, so I'll post them once they are worthy of something.

Thanks for keeping up with the grow though.
