^^^^same with cloning lol. I use rusty blades, same tote never clean it, and used res water lol. I will probably get run out of the village for this but I do use paper towel but it's got its drawbacks, just seems faster to me lol.

The first probably 4-5 years every seed I ever purchased popped. Then I went through a phase probably maybe a year and a half or so ago where almost every seed failed using my same ole simple methods. Many of them where from the same breeders that had always popped. Also I ordered from a couple of new seed banks I had never tried. At first as always we might blame the seed bank. But, that was a very respected seed bank and everyone was using them without issues like mine. So, I tried several different mediums. From Growdan cubes to peat pellets, soil in a cup whatever. I have gone from the paper towel method early on to just soaking for 12-24 hours which I did most of the time then put them in the medium. Place them in a drawer or cubbard and I do use house tap water for the last several years. No issues ever until I had a string of very bad luck. I tried everything even a heat pad. Finally got some to pop in coco coir pellets. Yeah I know right? Doesn't seem like the best idea to use coco but it worked so fuck it.

Now I read and it sounds sketchy as hell like much of the BS on RIU. But, I read that there was some kind of machine that puts off some kind of radiation that makes seeds unviable within the postal system.

Again, I don't know what happened but, that's as good an answer as any. Anyway, I haven't had any problems lately. That's a whole nother story tho. And it could have been my tap water was messed up for a while. I don't know. I don't PH water for seeds. Just straight tap.

I don't think it would take much to "manage" 4 fucking clones when your objective is to only grow out 2. By the fucking way.

I mean I'd love to have clones but maybe I better explanation of my situation will help.

Whom I live with is not comfortable with me growing nor do they smoke but they realize my need for medicine so they allow me just my grow tent space to grow in. I can't have any that is recognizable as weed outside of my grow tent. So unless I were to take clones harvest day (which I don't know if I can I want to let this girls really ripen up for a couch lock) I really have no where to keep clones while they root, unless you think they would be fine to sit under the canopy of my flowering plants for a few weeks?

I really hope for your sake you and your house mate are not romantically involved ..... if yes then tell him/her to bite you and you'll grow where you please ..... If it's mom then do as your told lol.

Going strong. Couldn't tell if Shaundi (left) was praying or just too hot, moved the light back to about 2" from the seedlings. I'm hoping to prevent stretching as much as I can. Might switch over to the MH in the coming two weeks after they get a few true leafs.

I gave the girls their first feeding today. I made up a 3L super diluted mix of tap water ph'd to about 6.0 (not exact no PH pen I use the color testing kit) and I mixed in .25mL of Dyna-Gro Grow and .25mL of Cal-Mag. I'm going to feed, water, water, feed to prevent excess salts from building up. Over-nuting has been a BIG issue in my previous two grows so I'm doing all I can not to over-due it this time. Super small feedings and if they look healthy I'm not going to up the dosage, no matter how tempting.

Wouldn't it be more prudent to just order more seeds? I've read that a hermie plants seeds will have the tendency to hermie themselves.

I planted straight into it. Popped with no problems following. This newer m.g. potting mix they have works pretty good.
