It's not for me. Why strain it if you're going to add all that stuff back in anyway? If you want to strain it you could make a tea bag out of a nylon stocking then you can just fish it out when it's done. Fox farm big bloom? Seems a little suspicious. Was that a well placed advertisement?
It is in the book true living organics

Ahh microbeasties, a book by the rev, that makes sense. He does a lot of things I wouldn't do. I wouldn't dump fox farm nutrients on my soil, I wouldn't use fertilizer spikes and I wouldn't strain my tea. I would make a tea bag but no bottled nutrients. You can do what ever you want, I'm not saying it wont work. I might try some of that fox farm ocean forest soil one of these days, if I do I would try water only with it.

Lol , yes microbeasties :) from what he says in his book fox farm big bloom is 100% organic. But none of the other bottled products from them are ?i don't know but I made that tea and I have absolutely no foam in my bucket it is just brown like the color of the big bloom ? Maybe something is wrong with it .

Screw the rev. His book was a waste of money. I would like a refund from him. Nothing but advertising in his book.
Teaming with microbes is a better choice.

The best medicine that I have ever smoked came from soil and all the words that came out of that book. Nothing wasted on my end ?

That book really don't teach anything. What I mean is its mostly worthless info and advertising. The useful info in his book could be condensed into a few pages.

Unless he has a new book out and we are talking about different ones.

He does have a new book . However we are speaking of the same book. I don't know a lot about organics . I'm just getting into it. I will have a journal of my tlo grow here real soon . I hope it is good . I do see where you are coming from . I have the book teaming with microbes too. I am about 30 pages into that now . I know that I have made a tea out of the true living organics book twice now and neither times has it made a froth ?

I don't use teas. I don't layer or spike. I really don't do anything the rev does. Just mic and cook. Make two batches of soil. One can cook while you grow and alternate. Living soil gets better with time.

The house my father sold after retirement had good soil for a garden.

We put a load of manure fall and spring for twenty years. It finally got to the point we didn't need to do anything to feed the plants. Just grow.

You should find a bag of dairy doo, just composted manure no soil, mix it with some promix and add some perlite.
