Can bud grow in any sunlight?

I was wondering if bud will grow in the sun in winter if in the sun I live in Australia

heres my 2 soaking up the summer sun in the uk,and the winters are hotter over there then our summer,try it lad if it dont work or they show sign's of distress bring them in,mine are in n out like blue arse flys

You will want her to finish before the days start getting longer. Or you can go with auto flowering plants.

I would figure as others have stated, it ultimately depends on what type you wanted to grow and just how much sunlight you would be able to provide it.

I live in south africa its also winter here I hav out door that are atill growing strong all I do is leave them in as much sun as possable idk if it will work for you but goodluck buddy

you still need to give it some 4 plus hours of cfl type light per day to stop her falling to bud

avoid the window ledge as the temps swing too much

I had to recently make this AUTO JACK HERER a Sunlight grow.
It was an originally an indoor LED grow but it is larger and i cannot move LED panel enough from the top.

Auto have that typical ( tree shape ) so instead of the top cola hogging up most of the light i have been bringing out to daylight ( 7am - 7 pm ) then back to a dark room.

She has responded incredibly well to this method and has exploded.
Since she is around 2 weeks in flower , it shouldnt be too much of a problem.
I expected her to be no taller than maybe 3 foot but her heavy sativa pheno is coming into play.

They grow a lot better in the sun than in the shade IME but that's the same as photo's.

From what I've heard autos are inferior to photos in potency and yield. Just use a greenhouse and light dep.

light dep is not used at least in the east, as they are autoflowering

give them as much light as you can and in Auzzie thats a lot ...lol
