I have a Dinafem x Critical 1.0 autoflower in an outdoor setting, 5-gallon pot in Northern California.
It's at about 70 days from germination, about 42 days from first flower. Seed bank doesn't list a flowering period for outside, but says indoors should be 60-65 days.
My question is, what's happening now? The plant is foxtailing (what I think other gardeners would call 'bolting,' and that's generally a sign a flowering plant is past its prime.
However, I'm a couple of weeks before the due date, and maybe this is just the "swelling" stage. Most pistils haven't dried up yet, and the trichomes are almost entirely clear or white, with just a very few amber.
If this is the swelling stage, then this plant (notwithstanding being under a foot tall) is going to be a great yielder. What does anyone else think?
