I do not know. He seems to be an important person though.

He has a facebook page but it is mostly in arabic. He posted a tshirt with his face on it yesterday.
Why did you think I knew why the killer's father visited state dept.?

By the way, its too late to stalk him Pie. No need to hang around his facebook page. He won't answer your pleas for pillowing with him.

No shit. I know. Thanks for always being the one to assume I said something i didn't, dumbass.
Just close the borders. We have enough homegrown bullshit to deal
with without worrying about who's coming through them. Eliminate high capacity mags, do thorough investigations into radicals and violent people on watch lists and via social media, don't allow any fuck on a watch list to buy a weapon. If we can make headway with the fucktards already here then open em back up with a more thorough vetting process. We shouldn't be worried when we go dance at a gay bar or go to see a movie. This shits gotten outta hand.
it seems like you're implying that closing borders will stop things like what happened in Orlando. The people at the gay bar were shot by an American. Why punish innocent people that need help, just because of something one of ours did? You're voting for trump or what?

There are issues with funding those background checks and paying for people to review them. In Oregon, the county where I live that office is way understaffed. Our Republican Congress and the NRA have rejected requests to adequately fund these checks. I don't know it that's the reason why this nutjob got his hands on those guns. Here is an article that covers this problem.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2016/01/19/fbi-guns-background-checks/78752774/
Depending on the volume of gun sales, at any one time the queue of pending cases — which by law must be resolved within three business days — generally ranges in the several thousand. Recently, those numbers have ballooned as high as 13,000. If the cases, some of which depend on local law enforcement agencies finding paper records to satisfy an examiner's search, cannot be resolved within the three-day period, gun dealers are generally free to complete the sales.

"Some (cases) aren't being looked at until the third day,'' Morris said, referring to the increasing volume and limited staffing.

Roof serves as cautionary tale
The enormous stakes are not always apparent, until the first reports of a new mass shooting echo across social media or cable television.

No one recent case underscores the sobering nature of the work here more, officials said, more than an April transaction in South Carolina, reviewed by a veteran examiner at the West Virginia facility.

In that case, which could not be resolved within the three-day period, Dylann Roof was mistakenly allowed to walk away with the .45-caliber handgun allegedly used two months later to kill nine people during an evening Bible study session at the iconic Emanuel AME Church in downtown Charleston.

So, I'd guess that the killer managed to skirt regulations that would have prevented him from legally acquiring the rifle due to clerical error or lack of time to process the killer's application. The system is understaffed. But that costs money. Congress hasn't really been very amenable to supporting the regulation of fire arms lately. But this is just my guess. This will get attention and reported on from a credible source soon.

Edit: And after funding increases are requested the debate will be whether the extra funding is worthwhile because 2nd Amendment. And the cycle will continue.
It used to be by phone. Some still are. Most have gone to the new computer system.

Take a buddy of mine. His name is the same as someone with a record and he gets a hold on his purchase every time. He applied for a pin to speed his application up.

If they can issue a pin, I'm sure they could've flagged ncic.

The FBI interviewed this guy twice. They have sworn affidavit from his ex.

Out of all this tragic shootings lately, this one could've been stopped.

50 people could be alive right now.

That's the tragedy. All this political bullshit and people stood idle and let this happen.

The FBI interviewed him twice and they couldn't flag NCIC for gun purchases?

Because we can't even stop shit happening here from our own homegrown terrorists. I shudder to think that if even .05% of the newbies are radicals that's too many. Has nothing to do with who I'm voting for- I'm just sickened by these mass slayings and we need to protect ourselves. I just don't agree with an open border policy anymore when we're bleeding already.

None were pre-approved by the FBI. duh

But a whole lot of murders of LGBT by wacko Evangelist Christians. A lot more than perpetrated by wacko Muslims. The commonality was wacked religious nut with a gun. What's the matter, Oddball, having trouble dealing with the truth? Unlike what is found on the dementia channel AKA Fox news.

Well then fogdog, If the FBI did not say they were backed by the Christian community, then it is hearsay only.
Just like this guy isn`t ISIS until the FBI says so, Correct ?

Put up where the FBI proved killings backed by the Christian community or stop saying it.
I can put up this guy pledging and ISIS confirming.

I have no problem with the truth, but I have problems with hearsay claims.

Fox news has nothing to do with anything.

I was just guessing why his purchase wasn't denied. Could it be that he bought the guns at a show where background checks aren't required? This will be covered in detail. But it is true that the background check system is a joke due to under funding.

What are you talking about? I already told you that the FBI doesn't pre approve murder and that's what you asked me. I don't understand your rambling post. Melting down are you?

I think he had a 10 month window where any gun purchase would have alerted authorities but it was back in 2013-2014. he bought the guns a few weeks ago from a shop 8 miles from his house.

goo thing we have stats on this kind of thing, and we are nowhere near even that miniscule amount.

the tsarnaev brothers were the only two refugees out of millions upon millions that we have let in who have done anything even remotely close to what timothy mcveigh or adam lanza have done.

yet your first racist instinct is to cry for us to close the borders.

go eat a shit pie.

I promise nobody will poke fun at you for answering this. But what do you suppose was his reason for visiting the state department? Other than that he had an appointment, that is.

I went to the Dr last week. He came into the exam room and asked me, "What brings you in today?" I said, "Oh, I have an appointment".

Maybe we should put a moratorium on births in the US. Damn terrorists are sneaking into this country through the maternity wards.

People are horrible no matter where they are from or what color their skin is. If you're scared go to church, being terrified of life doesn't give people a right to discriminate. This is America ,the land of the free. Don't let your fears fuck that up, America was built on diversity, It is who we are, nobody can change that. Nobody should want to change that.
