Mass Shooting at Florida Gay Club

i am mocking all these unfounded fears of ISIS being drummed up by those who don't even really know who and what ISIS is.

i mean, it's kinda naive or paranoid or just plain retarded to think that this kid from central florida who hasn't left the country just up and joined ISIS and then shot a night club up.

we do know he hated gays though and was mentally unstable.

but again, we only say he was mentally unstable or disturbed or a one off when it was a white guy. muslims get the terror treatment.

my dog killed one of my ducks the other day. i think she joined ISIS before doing so. but i can't be sure.
got it. I can see your point. So yes, he may have been only mentally unstable, but why the allegiance to ISIS? I'm remembering the movie theater shooter, the kid that shot all those ppl in the church, and the kid at Virginia tech that shot ppl. too. They were all mentally unstable yet none of them claimed allegiance to any group or ideology. If they did, then wouldn't those be classified as terrorist attacks too? I think since he aligned w/ ISIS then we are assuming he subscribed to their beliefs.

And if your dog posted on social media that he joined a militant fringe group that among other thing abhorred the existence of ducks then you'd have an idea why he killed your ducks...

I normally never agree or see eye to eye with UB...but he's making some solid points and he can see things much more clear than those of you trying to argue with him..

so this guy posted on social media that he joined ISIS then?
Sorry, not posted, called 911:

"After his initial assault on the dance club, Mateen called 911 and pledged allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State, also known as ISIS, according to federal law enforcement officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the FBI investigation is unfolding. During the call, Mateen made reference to the 2013 bombing of the Boston Marathon, officials said."

Not sure if you think it's splitting hairs to say joined or pledged allegiance to. But point taken about mental illness part. Given the information though it seems pretty cut and dried to me.

Anyone could do that, I could do that. I'm not affiliated with ISIS. If he's crazy, there's a good chance he would do that. What actual evidence is there that links him to ISIS beyond him claiming he was and the organization taking credit for the attack (when they would take credit for the attack whether they were actually responsible or not)? Are there any records of communications between known ISIS members/affiliates and Mateen? Is the NSA doing it's job with all of our tax dollars, he was investigated by the FBI, right? Why was he allowed to legally own a weapon?

Omar's dad seems like a wacko too.

The father of Omar Mateen, identified by police as the man behind the carnage at an Orlando nightclub early Sunday morning, is an Afghan man who holds strong political views, including support for the Afghan Taliban. In a video he posted on Saturday, he appears to be portraying himself as the president of Afghanistan.

i looked at their stats.

white christian right wingers are far more dangerous than muslim refugees. by about 8000%.

the number of deaths caused by right wing christian males is way, way higher than muslim refugees.

if you doubt this, i will show you the stats.
So a Muslim just created the largest mass shooting in the history of the USA and it's right wing Christians fault?
You need a lobotomy.

given the information, it seems like he was mentally fucked and made some weird call to 911 claiming to be with ISIS.

try to keep up, dumb dumb.

flaming pile asked me what the CIA had to say about muslim refugees.

so i told her. the CIA says muslim refugees have killed very few americans. i also told her that right wing christians like herself have killed 80 times more americans than muslim refugees, according to the CIA.

if you are unable to follow along with such a simple discussion, then you may want to stick with counting the number of garbage bags your hispanic neighbors put out.

There were armed "good guys" at the bar. An off duty Orlando cop as well. What this proves is that good guys and their guns can't do shit when the rubber meets the road.

So yeah, more guns. Derp
So, we have another moron who thinks terrorists are impervious to return fire. Next you'll be telling us how all terrorists come from the planet Krypton. Are you actually saying bullets from "good guys" behave differently than bullets from "bad guys"?

Total bullshit other than the off duty cop. What about the 100+ citizens that weren't allowed to carry and wouldn't even if they were allowed?

The blood of the first few killed are squarely on the shoulders of the assailant, every one after that are on liberal stupidity and the naive dolts who spew it.

There's a lot more Christians in america than Muslims.
Ask someone from Germany what they think about the refugees from Syria.

one of my cats killed a bird a few days ago. it's instinctual but i still feel kinda bad about it. one time i leapt through the air and dove onto the ground to save a baby bunny from a different cat of mine. i feel much better about the save, than the loss.

Dogs are supposed to be domesticated. Today it's killing ducks, tomorrow it's shooting up a gay bar.
