My veg tent currently runs a Quantum Bad Boy 8 bulb T5 with a mix of Phillips and agromax bulbs..... just looking for more efficient tech and less heat.......

I am torn though because since figuring out the UV bulb I had was the issue running all the light cycle and swapping it out the T5 can get closer and not burn my plants now..... and I got into it cheap.....

First time with lights on
Wow! That Pro-9 is bright all the way over here n were probobly thousands of miles apart! Ha! Seriously though, it would shine across the ocean.

These things got big fast. View attachment 3704141image.jpg View attachment 3704142
Today I lowered the lights & removed the CFLs in the middle. Also did a heavy-pinching as theirs so much new growth & I need to control the height n bush em out. Moved them around to so I could have the ones I have 2 of , 1 on each side to see how they compare in veg.
The HH seems to throw a big stretch fast. But now we'll know better. Think I put a GoGi & SFV OG on each side.
These are all new strains for me to run this year for the first time. So, I'm pretty excited. Each plant is totally new to me.

So, Some of you might know already but I went & posted my opinions along with some facts as I see them @GG Garden. Probobly wasn't very nice & not something I'd normally do. I had to endure A bunch of BS & tons of misinformation from his cronies as they hated on my Amare & the company. I was trolled to death by these guys as I was learning. So, I went there n spoke my mind. That was kindve disrespectful probobly & 2 wrongs don't make a right my Mother taught me.
@Greengenes707 , I would like to apologize for speaking my mind on your thread. I do stand by what I say but do not think saying it there was appropriate.

Seems like a trend.
Apologies to you to Rahz if I've offended you in any way. But You I actually like based on your posts & responses.
He had said plenty of things uncalled for though so I gave it back to him.
I've found recently that I've been getting a lil to caught up in that kindve BS & that's totally not me.
So, I'll be just posting my results & trying to help others w/o any poking. As long as I'm not instigated By lies, I have nothing bad to say.
Although, whatever I do say, I stand behind & believe to be true until I have reason to think otherwise.

Think he means it the other way around, bud.

Maybe victor needs to come here and teach everyone how to build his lights so he has as many followers too.
No, I don't agree, but get it. His modo has always been "The Results will speak for Themselves" & I agree. Then people like us will post our results & experiences & others will know the truth.
All my opinions & facts have been erased from GG thread & I can no longer comment there. Not that I had anything else to say anyways.
Gotta hide that stuff from the public, lol ! It's all good but does a major disservice to those whom think for themselves further enabling the Zombies & non-growers to give advice. Oh well!
Veg is blowing up quick!
Noticed more stretch from the HH now that I have a few plants of the same on each side.
These are from yesterday. Gotta state that as one day of veg makes a huge differance. Today they will be bigger.
Was gonna go over some veg techniques but feel like it's unnecessary. If anyone has questions to do with topping or pinching LMK? As there is a method to this madness, ha! image.jpgimage.jpg

Is that the new 50W UFO that can veg a 4x8? :P
Ha! Yes doubles as flower light too that gets about 2 oz. additional & is 40watts. Got 2.
Funny you said UFO cause I was thinking of removing the legs & hanging 1 on each side of the HH w/ hopes of it flowering something! God knows it doesn't work on its own. Another funny thing is it actually does cover all that area! image.jpg
image.jpg Well below the double trellis, the Original Blueberry Plant always spits heavy/dense bud with even low-light.

1150$ for a light really? (thumbsdown)
Yeah, I thought the same thing when I started learning about LED. Any light I thought was worth using was about a $G or more. Thing is, some cost that much n don't work for shit. Read back on this HH light I used. $800 n only out out 1/3 of the Amare.
Now i realize that it's the best way to maximize the plants photosynthetic responses, I would never not buy one! Lol! Getting many more & won't be risking other LEDs that just don't do the job.

Yes, it's a Lows Utility-Tech but not just any. It's a pro series! Ha! 4000k with a huge spread. Great supplemental lighting, this is my first time using it in veg. Working great though.
I'd like to get a Par-meter. But I'm going to download a light meter on my phone for now. Just gotta ask my daughter to help though ! Lol! I can do it!

I think everyone should just stick to their own results and just speak the truth. We're all here to learn and share in hopes our experiences will benefit others who are not yet familiar with the subjects that are discussed and just stick to the truth, because there a many of us who understand and know the truth from our own experiences. There are some of us that invest a lot of time and resources testing a of these theories so we know the truth. As to the manufacturers and vendors, just focus on making the best possible products and let the growers and results speak for itself rather than using unproven hypothetical BS with EGO and asinine attitudes to sell your products. The truth's, the truth. Good or bad, convenient or not. Trust me if it's BS and blatant disinformation or spin, others who get it will know it's BS, so spare us. Life's too short for attitude and lies. This is a great disservice to those who actually rely on our views to determine their purchases. LED has taken a BIG blacked-eye for this nonsense, which unfortunately keeps a others from benefiting from this wonderful technology. Theories are BS until tested and proven. Hell, for all we know, we might be using laser to grow in the future:)

1 lb of weed will pay for my 3 lights. Now I know nice things aren't for everyone and that's why companies like Eco-motel-led exist. People worrying over 50 bucks and over looking an extra 2 year warranty. When I went looking for lights I knew I wanted cobs. Went to the local advertisers here and caught some serious attitude from one in particular and wasn't really excited with appearance of the others. 4-6 cobs slapped in a generic housing. Granted good equipment but it just seemed like another overnight trying to get rich thing.

With the se-450 you can tell some serious time went into the lights. The boldest warranty and customer service to back it all up. Yes you can veg under cobs at 48+ inches but why not just flip on the monos they don't have? 170 watts of Cree LEDs are worth a hell of a lot to me. No light moving or changing. Just hit them with the monos and when they get big enough flip the cobs. If people don't get this then I must be one messed up individual cause I sure as shit do.

This round I'm under 3 new lights with a grand total that was 500$ less than the kind k5's that burned out after 2 weeks. Not to mention my yield will absolutely double. 3 weeks into flower and I already have more and larger buds then I did in total last run. How can you ask for more?!

So your saying on Amare's in veg you only run the mono's and the cobs are off?
