Not an advocate for any blurples but this seems like it's too good to be true no matter how shitty the components may be. $17?!?!?

Those leds only consist of a few dies, literally a completely different or lower tier of leds compared to what we are looking for.

Edit: didn't wanna sound like a dick; if you look at the picture close enough they look like 3-4 pin leds, not what we want to use. Don't even know the performance of them..but i know not for our application. (from what I gather)

I had to check their distribution link, looks like they are going for:

$1460 USD for the 550w
$830 USD for the 320w
$730 USD for the 240w

The prices were listed in polish zloty so these prices are USD equivalent
How many Polock's does it take to screw down a cob?

Seriously - looks like they jacked @Rahz 's design

That's no Tasty lamp. My fans are loud, my heat sinks long, my prices nice. I do kinda like the name Blast though.

edit... hey, you calling me a Polock >:(

What do you have against Poland? Why did you quote me with those comments?

My first thought was that it shares some similarities with Tasty but there's enough differences to where I wouldn't call it jacking the design (power switches, inclusion of 660/730, citizen cobs, etc).
