Ecosunlite CREE LED

its more than that. The website setup is average, pics are poor quality. Hes pushing his stuff in threads, which is normal I guess. I wonder about build quality. Also alot of people want built in usa lights, not that its that important really.
not listing prices... max wattage listed?
Idk. Just a first impression
First of all , we are the manufacturer of led grow light , the most important thing for us is to make good products , wesite and pics and so on are really not what we are good at ,even if the website and pics are very good , products not good , no meaning . Wattage , we make the led grow lights with different spectrum , more high voltage led chips , wattage higher , low voltage led chips , wattage lower . We put the real actual wattge on our sticker when people order . For price , different led chips , different price , some want full cree , some want mix with red or blue cobs in white cree cobs . We will try our best to improve little by little, thanks .

Thank you puffenuff for a constructive reply, was starting to wonder if I would get one. I will check out the panel. If you were to compare it to a mars hydro would you say it is Hans down a better unit? (pun intended ).
I've been using 80w Hans panels for a few years now, they grow plants, but really slowly and can't yield much more than 80 grams, because the coverage in them is so little. I've also used a "300w" Mars hydro which grows buds much more effectively, believe it or not. I also just had a two year old Hans panel's power supply break down.

Ya they sure do look cool with their bored in reflectors. But I've always though that they would have a terrible footprint..

Thanks Realstyles, and Airwalker. It's all so much for my old stoner brain to compute. To give you an idea where I'm at, when I hear top bins, the first thing that comes to mind is the top cat cartoon. I'm in trouble lol.

Some people swear by them. Others don't like them. They need to be hung pretty high uo to get a good footprint and are very very expensive for what it actually is. You could build one for much less.
Did you look at what light that is? It's not the 400W model

Is it literally a case of soldering direct to the COB surface - standard lead based solder or SMD paste?

What sort of voltage/amps will that be carrying - what sort of gauge wiring?

. Do you wire them up serial or parallel?
You could also look into the Vero 29 COB's.
They're cheaper and don't require soldering as they can use a pico ezmate harness.

There's a new version on the way too. Apparently it will be released in June.

Had a quick look at this - much more within my price range - I'm UK based and can source these at £18 instead of £44 for the Cree. I assume there's a pay off for the lower price though...

How many would I need to run to cover 60cm square? And could you point me in the direction of a driver that number - sorry math and calculating amp/watts/volts breaks my head!

Don't buy those. @Will Thayer did you ever figure out a UK Citizen solution?

The lower price isn't the problem, being sort of crap is. But Vero and Cree are your beaten paths. Vero isn't worth buying, and Cree costs a bit more and is much, much better.

Also, don't spend £44 when you can order them for like £30 from AU/US DIY sources. £27 at Cutter in Australia? Surely you don't always get taxed...

I think the UK can get Citizens easily, which is great but more explaining than I am going to do.

Check out cutter, pacific light concepts, and timber lights. They sell whole kits for around $400usd, or individual stuff is in stock at PLC...actually lets add those up. Yeah PLC is very cheap, $300 for heatsink, cobs, and driver. No idea about international shipping.

Hey everyone!

Please correct me if wrong (i probably am). Grow mau kit with 5 3500k cobs in my DS90 tent (90cmx90cm)

44540 lumens
par/w 124
PPF: 576.6
PPFD (90cmx90cm): 708
COB efficiency: 56.34%
lumens/w: 182.54

Does that makes sense? I tink that the more i read more confused i am...

Also can i go with this from seed to harvest with good veg development or should i throw in some 5000k to help? Do you think 5 COBS is enough for this tent?

Thanks!
