Malted Barley Unsafe For Agriculture

Just read an article that highlighted why using malted barley that's made for beer making is potentially dangerous to use in agriculture, it can contain E.coli, powdery mildew, downy mildew, etc, this comes from the practices they use when malting the barley seeds. Any additional information is appreciated, from what I hear you should be only using malted barley that has been tested in a lab and is safe for agricultural production. I was using malted barley from build a soil, I called them and apparently they are aware of the situation and are trying to get their barley tested. Thanks.

Are people using the malted barley to replace brewing a SST. Sorry I'm new to the whole organic scene.

that's weird... I mean ANYTHING organic can and will have gnarly molds/fungus/spores/etc.

Nah it was barley, someone linked some PhD thesis paper on IG saying all these things about barley and how it isn't safe for agricultural use, if someone has that person's IG name that would be cool cause I lost it. I'm just unsure right now , so if anyone has any information please let it be known, Because I use malted barley.

From what I gather @dragonflyearthmedicine posted some test results of some malted barley that they had tested, apparently it had off the charts E.Coli content. I'm not sure if they've removed the post or not but I don't see any test results or mention of it on their page anymore.

I'm not stopping using it, but that's not good. Not sure how legit the claims are as well.

Yeah it's pretty scary, our country could be run by someone that is an idiot, and on the other side we got a corrupt politician, this country is really moving in the wrong direction. I wonder how hard it is to become a Mexican or Canadian citizen...
