I've sent you a mail on site but it might be easier on here.

I'm running a 5' x 5' setup and I'm wanting 16 lights.

If I price up 4x mau5-iv it comes to 2483.80 and I've got a bit spare in the driver if i want to add 2 more lights

If I price up 2x mau5-viii it comes to 2549.90 and theres no spare in the drivers.

Am I missing something or am I better ordering 4x maut5-iv kits? Also, I'm wanting mine for purely flowering, am I best with the 3000K BD?

Hey mark can I use 1 of the 1-10v dimmers on 2 of the LGSU1400D or do I have to use 1 per driver? I did order 2 of them just figured if I could use only 1 it would make life a bit easier when I adjusted the lights

This may be a dumb question but I'm going to ask anyway so go easy on me. If I plug both drivers into a power strip and plug that into a fan speed controller can I dim them that way or would it have a negative impact on the fixture

i advise reading the datasheet, understanding what youre working with and asking all the questions you need to, in order to fully understand what youre doing. youre working with DC voltage that can literally kill you.

OK thanks I've been reading everything I can for the last 3-4 weeks for hrs a day trying to get a grasp on everything but like I said I have 0 experience with any of it. Some of it is starting to make sense but not everything that's why I ask a lot of questions because I do realize how dangerous it is. Does anyone know of any websites that will help me understand what I need to know

wasnt being a jerk. this is the best site

maybe google "understanding basic electrical", im sure there are a bunch of sites out there

electrical is all the same. once you understand voltage, current, resistance, circuits, and grounding you'll know 90% of what you need to know about a driver

No worries I didn't take it that way I know I ask a lot of questions but its only because I want to learn and understand what I'm working with I'll definitely be reading everything I can find on the sites you recommended and I greatly appreciate all the help

Yes you can control 2 drivers off one pot if you want uniform dimming

Yes that is correct, 4 up is good value. If your just flowering, then you do want higher red content so 3000k would make sense

Thanks for the quick reply Mark. Forgive the stupid questions, do I need anything extra that's not in the 5 kit to run at 50w per cob?
