A bold move Herk! Hopefully everything turns out great! The MK is definitely showing progress, and is looking just like how my mongy LA Con did but she has definitely turned around, I think she will do the same with a bit of time! The new growth is definitely looking a lot better. All the best mate

Hey stickman I started feeling bad for the pink panties & had a bunch of junk laying around so I threw together another set up ,not much to look at but it functions just fine the hardest part was making the drip column that pumps via an aquarium air pump that forces nutes up the pipe & to the plant similar to the waterfarm I'm about 45 km from any large stores so I fabricated everything I could out of what I had here tomorrow I'll make a stand for it & move it into the room I now have a 2 plant growimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Their both vegging under the 250hps I've got 2 totally different plants the mk- bubble is structured like an oak tree & today I did some pruning & training I'm finally getting sign she's ready to feed a little I'm running both plants on a modified seedlings schedule THE PINK PANTIES on the other hand is more like a whispy willow tree so I'm gonna top the hell out of her while the other one catches up the store bought waterfarm & the homemade unit are now side- by- side the homemade one takes 4 gallons of nutes instead of only 2 I might have to spray paint the homemade unit if I get algae in the res.image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Are the roots down in the water? They almost seem overwatered, which was a problem i had when trying to run a top-fed/drip system(that was my first grow though so that was part of my problem).
I'd say drop the top feed for a week and see if you see improvement.

Seems all too much of a coincidence that we've all had this problem, this was my first grow with a drip system as well. I think this is great advice and may be the solution to the problem. Fingers Crossed! :-D

Right? I honestly don't get it though because people use the drip systems and get away with it, it confuses me...but that's a great point i had forgot about yours being in the same boat when also going to a drip. Did you stop your drip or did she just grow past it? I feel like once the roots get big enough it no longer effects it due to them being a good size and in the bubbling water.

The plant on the right has roots in the res ( about 18" long) the plant on the left has about 1" of roots but has given me no problems yet the mk- X - bubblegum is finally acting something like normal compared to what I had going on before

I'm starting to have serious thoughts about the new gh- simple recirculating nutrient schedule & their rapid start additive which is basically a rooting hormone it's the only ingredient I didn't have they wanted $50.00 a quart/liter the old schedule didn't have it after looking at the ingredients I matched up dyna- gro product for less than 1/2 price only to get it home & discover clone X has the same stuff so I did more research & discovered I had a gallon of florablend vegan tea stuff that is good for root health too so I'm gonna overhaul my nutrient schedule e&f is a lot more forgiving than dwc type grows in that your roots are in the solution 24/7 instead of being suspended in a grow- media & letting the plants uptake nutrition as is passing by when you flood change is good I'll get it figured outimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Ive put the drippers on a timer 15 min. Every4 hrs I think my problem is in my tap water in that it is treated with chloramine that won't evaporate off I'm doing the mk- bubblegum in r/o water & floranova bloom cal mag is the only additive both plants are showing same traits in off the wall leaf development & overall rate of growth is way down compared to your lsd & stick mans current grow my development should be more advanced than what I'm getting the overall droopiness has me concerned I'm now running my oscillating fan 24/7 temps @ 60-70.f lights on7 pm. & off @ 1- pm avoiding lights on during the warmer hoursimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Shit, we need to nip this in the bud mate, get them healthy again! I'm gonna do some research ! Do you let your water sit for a while in a bucket to let it dechlorinate? Or do you water straight from tap?

He's got chloramine which doesn't evaporate, did a little searching and sounds like best way to remove it is a product called Amquel or they make others. Says its safe for fish but idk about plants.

But yeah what the heck is going on here. Can you get a pic of the roots herk?

our city water comes from snow runoff ppm40-43 which is actually lower than the spring water 46-48 I'm using but judging by the smell of my tap water it's all chloramine I suspected this early on I figure I'll have some result in about 7-10 days there's gotta be a reason for this lack of vigor in foliage development the new growth on the mk- bubblegum looks perkier but the pink panties seems to droop in spite of white new roots I didn't have 4 days agoimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

I'm gonna switch the panties out to r/o water & the soul synthetics ( sounds like a disco band) in hopes somewhere in all this I find an answer as until I get this sorted out I'm just kinda spinning my wheels I live in a small town of about 2000 people but right around the corner is a r/o water source so if my tap water is the culprit I've got it covered even if I gotta go to another brand of nutes I'm cool somethings gotta work out the nutes I've been using off&on for 5 years the light has produced all at another location the only difference is the water & my method I had drippers on the 6 site bubbleponic I made & they gave me no problem & were shut off when the roots were long enough so I'm sure it's something simple hopefully soon I'll have an answer image.jpeg

MK-ULTRA-X-Bubblegum it's soon to tell but I switched the light to 400w. Which should make a sick plant droop this morning for the first time she looks "perky" the pink panties however is still droopy I'll cover that in another response I went to general growing & looked at the "water the most essential compound" thread it's been only 48 hrs. Since I've made my change but even the old growth is reaching upwards notice the first pic the leaves are drooped downward touching the drip ring in the second pic they've risen well above the ring also went to general hydro.com for more research everything points to my water note that the leaf on the right was removed but the one on the left is a good 2" above the ringimage.jpegimage.jpeg

image.jpeg image.jpeg OK now the PINKPANTIES she is droopy this morning & the leaves are developing that fat leaf downwards curling growth tonight I'm gonna change everything out to to r/o water & either floranova or the aurora soul synthetic nutes which made by roots organics

Not heard of the chloramine before, but have just realised me mate uses a similar product in his fish tank to remove chlorine prior to a water change, same again, says it is safe for fish but not sure about plants!

Bang on Herk, keep using the R/O water I think that is the solution to your problem! Fingers crossed!
They definitely do look perkier mate.
"R/H Water and the Soul Synthetics" sounds fucking quality!!! PMSL
I'm thinking you on vocals with a guitar, @Anon Emaus on bass guitar and me on drums?

I haven't switched the panties to r/o water yet I see a decline in her development as the mk- bubblegum is starting to program I plan on achieving my goal of a good performing smaller set up just have a few obstacles in my path this has got to be sorted out before I can move forward hell I was looking at scrog building when I couldn't get growth to fill it out ,all the more reason to go back & sort this out beyond a doubt image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

I suspect some of the problem in the drip as well as water/nute combined found out they use chlorine gas here instead of chloramine but no denying the result I'm getting using r/o water & different nutesimage.jpeg
