The federal overseer was supposed to have a few specific functions along with regulating trade between the states. It was also in charge of the border and the military. Now, the federal government doesnt want to do border patrol anymore apparently. Using the commerce clause, the federal government has wormed it's way into every aspect of our lives.
And we need a federal overseer to protect us against all the other overseers that want to oversee us.

You are just reciting made up shit. What proportion of EBT cards get sold and therefore are used for fraud? Cite something from a reputable source. You can't because the fraud in EBT is a tiny fraction of valid transactions. But prove me wrong if you can, I'd actually like to see you to show more than stupidity for a change

Fact- people are crossing the border illegally to come to this country to work BELOW our minimum wage to create a better life. Not hating on them. I respect hard work. Just putting poverty in perspective. Real poverty is damn near starvation in my mind. None of us wants someone to starve so don't go there. When did Coca-Cola and a cell phone become God given rights? When did one become entitled to be independently wealthy?
Fact- ebt cards are sold for cash. What does a percentage have to do with it? Even one low life scamming us for disability or food stamps while slinging crack, or making cash on the side, or sitting on the couch, should be enough to piss a tax payer off. I would go so far as to say we all know at least one person committing one of these frauds. That's a huge number and a lot of dollar bills. The truth is being on welfare pays better than a shitty job. So who is the dumbass for getting up every morning to go to work? That is a problem.
Fact-ish- poor people bitch and moan that the rich should pay more taxes. The rich are already paying the taxes. How is it possible to pay no income tax and get back $10,000 come refund time? Guess who can pay you a decent wage? A rich guy, that's right.
I've got a gripe with the rich fuckers too tho so here goes...
Fact- the wealthy executives are making more and more money, insane amounts of money. Yet they keep cutting pensions, healthcare, wages. WTF? Give us a break you gready old bastards. You've already got more than you can spend.
So as you can see I'm a conflicted person. I do believe the government is not competent or efficient enough to "solve" more problems.
We likely all agree for the most part on where we'd like to see this country go. It's the how do we get there that has us so divided.
