I didn't even know lobsters were soft shell.. The ones I buy I get @ mejers and they are frozen..I thaw in fridge overnight n cook in some butter.

I use a scissors to cut a couple slits in shell before cooking so shell peels off kinda easy after cooking in a pan.

Really? I don't think I ever had a bad lobster. Had an undercooked frozen one once at a restaurant. Read them the riot act for fucking up good food.




Agreed..I've never had a bad lobster either...but I'm repeating what I've been told by people who cook em..

I like the Maine lobster well enough, but I'ma south fla boy & know that slippers & spiney's are the way to go.
Grill them with buttonwood & it'll kill ya. :wink:

can we give this dude ad space.. im sure more than a few of us would be browsing here and suddenly get a craving for lobster after seeing it.. i want lobster now after this thread :eyesmoke:

I live in Maine and I'm so sick of lobster. But if you want it done right steam those bugs with real seawater, can't beat it when it comes to lobster
