thanks, so which color is connected to the small resisterHere you go
You connect the 10k resistor to the grey wire VDIM-thanks, so which color is connected to the small resister
thanks. so when soldering in small resisterHere is a diagram. Your yellow wire takes the place of the blk/wht wire in this diagram.
thanks again-You connect the 10k resistor to the grey wire VDIM-
So when soldering in small resistor? What do you mean?thanks. so when soldering in small resister
hes talking specifically about attaching a resistor to the ends of a potentiometer.Head down to your local hardware store and just pick up some butt splices if you don't wanna solder. Should be no more than a few bucks for a small pack.
What's the yellow curve for?you can safely and lightly file these areas to get a little more clearance. or put a small washer under the reflector adapter for a little bit more clearance.
- or unscrew the cob holder and just turn it a little bit.but this will require filiing the cob holder mounting holes slightly.

file bro. if you file like with a round metal file, around the yellow area, it will allow you to twist ONLY the metal cob holder, while the white plastic reflector adapter stays fixed. this may give you a little more clearance. Honestly I am not sure, because it looks like the reflector adapter is mounted off to the side a bit and not centered on the COB.What's the yellow curve for?
And what do you mean by unscrew it and turn. Fill the holes why, and with what?
I don't think it'll work. Did you see that post in the pictures of your diy lights thread, that was put up today? Robin quoted it it just recently. It shows a pic of it much better than mine do really. But I'm not sure it could help filing, because the reflector itself is the problem. Not the holder. I actually mounted mine the proper way according to the pic used in the post. The reflectors just too wide.file bro. if you file like with a round metal file, around the yellow area, it will allow you to twist ONLY the metal cob holder, while the white plastic reflector adapter stays fixed. this may give you a little more clearance.
