i had a lengthy conversation with the CTO for apache and the guy knows how to sell his product. not to mention every claim he made is backed up by facts.

he also enlightened me about my kind lights, i still don't see them as junk yet but the quality difference between the at600 and kind xl 1000 is undeniable.

it doesn't excuse the bashing of me or my light choices by other folks on here but I'm man enough to admit my first choice in led lighting wasn't the best choice.
its fine, just get your moneys worth out of the lights then sell'em. I still am amazed on some T5 grows I see.

apache when I looked in to them, they had the 6100k in the white panels, I was looking for 4-5k in my research. not to mention the price. like I said adding the CMH's to my to kinds I think helped, maybe that apache will have similar effects.

once your lights are set up, its easy. I have several timers, and switch the box rather then change the time on a single unit.

in flower you can program your kinds, to run all red the last 30minutes at the end of the day.

voodoo who knows, like I said I'm not totally convinced of the blue+red light thing. if you search: space station Veg-01: they have recent updates. you see the light they are using (its not white) but they are growing for high nutrients, and increased anti oxidants in vegetables.

You can take cuts of you want. They may go through a reveg period. As long as your plants are healthy you shouldn't really notice much difference in growth as long as you don't take like 20 lol. Nice buy on the Apache. Be interesting to see your comparative grow.
I took 5 lowers lol , figured I'd play it safe
The strain I cut from is just doing so well I had to do it . Plants are thriving so I don't think it's gonna hurt .
I'm definitely looking forward to putting all of my lights into action and seeing how well the At600 performs compared to Kind . The Kind has done really well for vegging so I'm hoping it does the same for flower

They'll be fine I take cuts in flower a lot when I realize I want to run the strain again. Would've lost this one if I hadn't taken a couple flowering cuts.

Sweet , That's what I'm talking about , getting to the finished product is gonna be a good day ..
One thing about gardening that I didn't understand was you have to have patience lol much patience
But it's been real cool , something I definitely enjoy .

I take cuts late in flower too from the bottom branches, they root kinda slow but when they root n go in soil they grow 4 tops right from the start.

i take cuts from flowering plants almost exclusively.i have the fastest rooting times from 2 weeks 12/12 from the middle of the plant.i have also rooted plenty of buds from wk 7 or 8 to save a strain.doesnt effect the donor plant at all other than your losing a branch lol

Morning all ,
The girls are heading into third day of flower Today .. Past 3-4 days they've started to get bushy as hell again and I noticed the moisture was building up in the canopy due to the thickness of it I suppose ..
Gonna pic up an extra small fan today and put in in with them to create more airflow .. Hoping that will alleviate the moisture buildup

Once I get moved into my new grow space airflow will not be an issue anymore .. Just difficult when you have a 4x4 space and the plants are outgrowing it . It seems with these plants if you give them space they will use it lol

When I started this endeavor back at the last week of Febuary I was thinking small so I picked up a 2x4x5.5 tent
And within 2 weeks I was like f-this and got a 4x4 now 3 weeks after that I'm moving to a huge space lol I'm hoping space doesn't become an issue again
Funniest thing is my original budget was 500$ for my hobby grow .. Now 12 grand later sh1t isn't a hobby anymore

Soooo funny to hear someone in the exact state I'm in. I spent like 800 on Amazon and said what else could I possibly need. My first room looked huge for 12 empty pots too. It's full, new room being built after hours.

Kind just emailed me back saying they would like to replace them or repair them. The owner at the grow shop sent his out. He said when they came back they were missing screws. But my friend did the same and he said they just gave him a new panel.

I went with LED cause they were easy. No venting basically just hang them and be done. Not so much. I'm really interested in the 3590's? Cobs seem amazing but I don't have the time right now to learn. Then I think about the more expensive LEDs available and the amount I would need to fill my area. Not gonna happen.

I just finished lemon kush from VIP. It's a very stinky girl and I'm curing the buds as of now. Got it from Herbies.View attachment 3652233 View attachment 3652234 View attachment 3652235

When you take from flower what are you taking like a leaf? Silly question just didn't think you could clone from flower, like to try that.

no i just look for a small branch from the inside of the plant or bottom that doesnt have alot of flower and snip the whole branch, then cut down to what i like which is about a 6 in cut with 2 or 3 leaves on top. when you put a plant into flower they grwo like crazy and stretch during those first few weeks.i just find that during that time the cuts root faster, probably some growth hormone going on im not sure.but it works great and i prob get 90% or more of my cuts this way.i do have one strain i been running for years that clones better in veg, she's a stubborn bitch any way ya do it,always roots slow as hell.

I can def see that working out well. I was meaning more on the clone from 8 week. Do you take the lower branch and cut the bud site off?

ok gotcha,no i just take a lower branch with smallish bud and stick it in a cup.the bud will just start to reveg and grow single blade leaves and then branches.ill see if i can find any pics.im on a new pc now and did not transfer alot of my older pics.

It's a screen I was going to Scrog with but just used it to keep height down. This run now will use a screen the RIGHT way.

Do your flowered clones look like this? Its growing but juSt doesn't seem to want to grow fan leaves again.20160405_201224.jpg

well this one i found was from a recent competition for smallest yield so its just a budded branch i cloned and kept in flower to finish small lol.but it came off a 6 week plant and only took a week longer to finish than the mother did.rooted faster than normal i think because i left it in 12/12
